- I watched East Kilbride v Gretna 2008 in the Scottish Lowland League two days before Christmas. It was possibly the worst weather I've ever seen at a football match!

I’m a Celtic fan and before anyone starts , my mum lived literally 5 mins from Celtic park when I was born so they are my local team 😂 but I have so much respect for ppl who go week after week to watch games like this.
Massive respect to the presenter of this show too, he really does make such an effort to bring stories and interviews that a lot of ppl wouldn’t see otherwise about the Scottish game . Real respect to you sir.
I like that so has managed to get a job again in coaching , as an assistant this time , he’s a good coach and I think he gets way too much crap by a lot of ppl. He’s got the balls to take chances and try things with his open goal channel and his management. fair play to a good guy imo

The fact that this team endears itself so much to its supporters that they’re coming out to watch in such dreadful weather shows the place East Kilbride hold in the hearts of the supporters.

My mum was from Aberdeen and I was born and raised in Portsmouth. I saw two or three Aberdeen games before I left for America.
@F1andfootballfan144 I used to live in Southsea in the early 90s and Fratton Park was about 15 to 20 minutes walk away. I miss those days.

I used to play for the Druids in the Wrexham area in the late 70s early 80s, and that video brought back nostalgic memories as I live thousands of miles away. I used to go to see Rangers, and sometimes The Blue Brazil when Jimmy Nicholl was there. Fingers crossed one day they'll get back into the higher pyramid ❤

Just watched the highlights of west ham vs Manchester United and this East Kilbride had better atmosphere than west ham 😂
For a while this match was shown as abandoned on the BBC results service. The result was unspoilt as a consequence. We are having some really horrible weather right now and I bottled going to a game on this day.
I hope East Kilbride make it higher up in the league system

Hoping East Kilbride and Cumbernauld Colts get promoted this season. They deserve professional teams, especially given how high their respective populations are. Dingwall is tiny but still manages to fill up Ross County's stadium so I don't see how these clubs can't either.
