Do not forget Valetta on Malta. On daily basis thousands of visitors come from the cruiseships. At night it is beyond noisy up to 1 o’clock at night with a lot of noise from bars and restaurants that should be closed earlier but no official/police to do anything about it. Not only at weekends but also from monday to friday. I do not have to sleep at 23.00 hours but later than 1 o’clock is ridiculous.
I lived in Florence for 3 years and Taormina for 2 years. The number of people who got off the cruise ships and raided the narrow walkpaths and streets was unbearable. I thought Florence was bad, but poor Taormina. I also felt smothered in Santorini. It was elbow to elbow. Aweful.
This video is VERY misleading. I was in Barcelona just five months ago. The only place I saw that was crammed with tourists was Familia Sagrada. I found the city to be very peaceful, clean, and beautiful. As for Machu Picchu, it is NOT being ruined by anyone! The Peruvian government is zealously protecting it in every way. Admission is timed. All tourists must enter with a guide and remain with their guide. You are allowed a limited time inside the ruins and MUST exit at your designated time. There are hidden guards watching for any breaking of the rules on the part of tourists. I admire the Peruvian government for the good job they're doing protecting this ancient treasure. I was there two years ago.
I was in Barcelona a couple of weeks ago. Jezz! Never again. A lovely city completely ruined by mass tourism. Having said that, I was a tourist myself.
Partially agreed but Park Guell was jampacked, Ramblas and Passeigh de Gracia too specially at Casa Batlo. So Barcelona is quite busy but it is mostly at the highlights.
You can add to that Miami Beach Florida USA. The place is not approachable due to all the %$#@ tourists. Locals are no longer welcomed and shun the place. I have not been there in years.

For example Angkor Wat
I am sure there are more than 10! Venice should have been #1!
Pure nonsense. I have been to seven of those cities and there were none of the described problems.
Anyone been to Florence lately?
You forgot Athens. Not only tourist and illegal immigrants
😢😢
"Goost houses"--hah! More AI training needed......

Sorry this is total none sense small businesses in these cities survive on the money they make from the visitors. Otherwise they would struggle.
