Bought a speedmaster 20 years ago almost and im definitely not rich.. hope u can own one someday. I love mine but rarely wear it
You don't have to spend much to enjoy the brand thankfully! Loads of quartz and oddball pieces no one talks about, in comparison to the heavy hitters! My first pre owned piece was a quartz plated 1979 omega de ville! And it was an excellent piece and only 200 dollars back 6 yrs ago! But for a more everyday useable watch... the last gen seamaster 120m in quartz or auto are excellent value! And a great vintage piece now, but still new enough to be used everyday and worn in water etc! Or hell instead of a speedmaster moonwatch, the speedmaster racing, or the speedy reduced are excellent forays into the more complicated omegas! But so long as you buy what speaks to you, thats what matters most❤️
You can buy a pre-owned Omega for a reasonable price. Just make sure you go to a reputable watch dealer.
I rarely say this about any commercial, but this stood out more than any other commercial I've seen in my life. Truly brilliant 👏.

I was there with my Mother alone in the wee hours of the morning when she died as I held her. This song reminds me of my families struggle and my Mothers commitment to raise her three sons after our fathers early death. It hurts so bad to say goodbye. I don't think I will ever recover. One day I will join her but till then I will hide my sadness away and live for others who need me. I am just so proud to have been her son. She took so much love she made for me with her when she passed away.

@milopixels Nothing was actually filmed for this ad, it's 100% CGI, so we're talking Blender, Cinema 4D or similar 3D modelling and animation software.
@milopixels Cinema 4D rendered with VRAY. After effects with Element 3D. MochaFX inside AE for tracking some text into the scenes. But it's many layers rendered on top of each other and putted together, to get the correct lens blur on different levels. Then used final cut to put things together with the sound effects. And then the last part, color grading. :)

It was the same with me. The music and visuals caught my attention. Sometimes TH-cam can do good with the recommendations.
The music instantly caught my attention. It sounded so familiar. I had to come find the video and watch it again. The song is from the movie, Man of Fire. Which is one of my favorite movies of all time. Then i kept on watching the video and realized how incredibly beautiful it was. Good job to your advertising team for making an ad that people actually want to watch, and not skip after 5 seconds.

i’ve never seen it. but the same thing happened to me. i searched this ad up just to hear it again. i feel like it connects to me better than most my friends lol. im very much in tears listening on repeat and crying out to God because i’m at such a point of breaking that music in an ad is the the that made me break down. it’s beautiful. Omega will probably be my first Non Apple watch simply because of the ad.

I guess I'm not the only one...but this was beautifully done. This shouldn't even be called an ad. It was so nice to see so much effort put into this and not be completely annoyed when my video stopped to play this ad...other companies need to take notes. A non abrubt and chill ad needs to be the new normal.
Nothing worse than when you open a video for a very chill song and some ad starts screaming at you with the complete opposite mood that you're in.

I saw the older version of this 8 years ago with same feelings i loved the ad, music and it was played after Cosmos ( a tv series). It made me so inspired that i loved the show more than any other show and i thought it was the intro but it was not. Looking at time how 8 years have passed.

ROLEX are ashamed of their movements so they hide them in a closed caseback. Omega beautifully decorate and exhbit theirs. Shows the difference in company ethos right there!
I think Rolex by any means is not ashamed of their movements, not at all, they just don’t want people to see what they are actually paying for… all the hype you get with their name or what their watches look like when you flip them over. They made their mark by marketing a brand, not their movements or watch making abilities. Remember rolex has never manufactured or made a damn thing.
