- In this video I visit RSPB Fairburn Ings, Nr. Leeds. I have never been to this reserve before. It is the reclaimed site of what was once a coal mine. Now it is a wonderful home to nature. I photographed lots of birds with the highlights being a black cap, a nesting robin and a marsh harrier. I thought the video was finished and was nearly back at the car when I came across I hide I didn't know about and that is where I saw the blue tit and the marsh harrier.
Hope you enjoy this video and your photography

Great video Darrell! Loved the Marsh Harrier but also the little blue tit images! So lovely.
Thanks May. This was a really lovely location and when you also get the reward of the marsh harrier and blue tit right at the end it put the icing on the cake.
Hi Darrell. Great shots of the black cap and the marsh harrier. Thanks Jon and Sandra
Luck was on my side this day.
Really enjoyed this video, some truly stunning images.
Thanks. This was a great place to visit and the blue tit and the marsh harrier were genuinely the last things I saw as I was about to leave.
Great video, loved Fairburn Ings when I visited
Sometimes luck smiles on you and you get something special.
Superb video of the bluetit coming and going, and amazing shots of the marsh harrier. You did well to spot the blackcap - I hear them ok but they rarely show themselves! Enjoyed this one a lot!
It was a super reserve. There was so much to photograph. I filmed today at a country park and saw lots of birds but nothing unusual like at this place.
There`s also a long ditch there where you`re almost guaranteed to see kingfishers, think he missed that.
Great shots of the Marsh Harrier!
Thanks. It was a really special end to the visit and the video.
Lovely video Darrell, Dearne Valley (plus a few others in the same area) is only about 40 minutes from there, well worth a visit ... good cafe too!
I have filmed a video at Old Moor and that is a great location.
Wonderful video! Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Hi Darrell, great video. I have noticed that on your last few videos you only use the Z6ii. Have you given up on the DSLR?
I have not had it repaired yet after the focus going out of line.
