While people visiting Kanou Shoujuan Sunai no Sato can shop for some of the best Japanese sweet, it is also possible there to participate in some unique workshops where you will learn to make your own Japanese sweets or participate in Japan famous tea ceremony.

Good question, I am not really sure. Indeed this place is, in fact, a manufacturing location for Japanese sweets and them opted to open a store open for the public as well as some dedicated room to enjoy these sweets and some good tea.
