This guy oozes awesomeness! Definitely gonna get a second. It's figs like this that really reach the kid in me that wanted more mando characters in general and figs of those characters. I still have my POTF2 boba that I "painted" black with a sharpie to have a unique mando. Fast forward and we have awesome mandos, new and old for days. Keep them coming! I found that putting the thumb over the stock like an old school rifle works well.
@@OutOfTheBasement Oh ya! I wonder what body they'd use for him. I'd like to see them rework and slim down the Jango/loyalist body for some clone wars mandos (pre vizla, gar saxon). I think it would be worth it for hasbro.

Happy May the 4th! I wasn't paying that much attention to this figure when it was announced, but now that it's out this was a figure that I didn't know I needed. If I'm honest on top of seeing reviews showing how poseable this figure was, it was the helmet sculpt that got me. The rubbery helmets over harder plastic heads they've done a decent job with in this line, but there has been slight issues with them not always being glued on right, having to heat the deluxe Boba's helmet to shape it properly, or in Mando's case just being a completely inaccurate shape. Honestly I prefer when the helmet and head are just separate options, only because I think this shows how good the helmets can look as a harder sculpt without having to accommodate a head underneath. I only do the occasional bit of light customizing with my figures, I'm not skilled enough to fully repaint a whole figure, but this I think is a fantastic base body for repaints to make other characters or just original designs for Mandalorians. It wouldn't be completely accurate but I'd love to throw a Mando cape on this figure and repaint it to look like Llats Ward, I always liked that 3.75 inch figure

Another fantastic looking figure! The details are incredible. I found one of these in a Walgreens while hunting for the 212 exclusive. Just wish EE would ship the full wave soon. Their ETA still shows January 2023…🤷🏻♂️. Gonna need a couple of these to set up a battle scene. Thanks for another very thorough review. Great review as always, I have this guy on my shelf and looks great, minor gripes are the jetpack falls off very easily and looks slightly too large on scale to my eyes also I noticed the gave him very small feet that seem out of scale with the rest of the figures proportions but over I think he's a must have 😊
i looked up the figure on google and it looks like ur making him hold the big blaster wrong his thumb should be on the top of the stock next to the hammer and scope of the blaster its on a bigbadtoystore image and on a hasbro pulse image too dont know if it can aim the same way but ill find out when i get mine tho if i ca t i may ask my mom to return it cus i do actually play with them and i make my guys aim and fire and fight alot when im playing with them so its a bit of a big deal to me if so then i may get some clone imperial shock troopers

Mine arrived yesterday and now I wish I had ordered more. Wasn't hot on the baby blue color scheme, but the sculpt is very well done. Kudos to Hasbro on this one.

I actually found 2 of these guys and Echo at Walmart, I was surprised for sure. They are great figures and if I happen to find another, I think I'll try to make a custom Mandalorian. You can't go wrong with more troops in the sky. Lol. Great review. 👍

I still like them, but I was a massive dinosaur enthusiast as a small child, so nothing will ever replace Jurassic Park bringing them to a well realised screen life for me. No matter how much new jiggery-pokery they manage these days, that will always be my nadir! Mace has got to make up for #mandogate!! I'm thinking customs as well brother!
This figure is based on what character? I couldn't find a visual reference. Clone Wars' Death Watch members have different armor, and so do Bo Katan followers from The Mandalorian.
My only gripe is the lack of an actual head. Hasbro should add some random head on those figures, or at least make the helmet removable with a cheap black ball as the head.
I think this could be great base for a Pre Vizsla custom. I am about to dip my toe in custom and have the Pre Vizsla helmet. Next will be jet pack (and a second holster if I get this one).
Yes and a vintage Pre Vizsla as well! Pipeline, so not sure when those are coming but I want both. And I might just paint the vizsla helmet I have and paint the jet pack and call it a day. With dark saber in hand he would still look the part on this body. If the loyalist wasn’t overpriced on resell I would use that instead. Keep up the good work!
Black series are doing well. since I have little room I decided to stay away fom Mandalorian figures. I am sticking with stuff from the original Star War movies.
Death Watch went from being some one-off villain faction in the comics to an iconic part of Mandalorian history.

Nope! Just the jetpack. They’re a nameless grunt soldier so no removable helmet or anything. -Justin

That is part of Mandalorian helmets. It's even on ESB Boba Fett figure. I honestly don't know exactly what it is though! -Justin
