I’m just getting into commander. After reading the 2,300 from A to Z he’s in my top ten I’m most interested in coming from a hearthstone background Thank you for the Video.
hi, very cool deck! i like this snipe mechanic of legolas. how does Legolas works in combination for eg. with primal might. if im right, Primal Might should triggers both of Legolas´s abilitys and if it so, wich is first, Legolas´s abilitys or the combat of the sorcery?
Started using this on my duel commander.. Red Aggros can't kill him easily.. Blue if they failed to counter him get headaches with him since he still triggers even if they counter my bite/fight spells and swarm decks can't build up with him around
Actually not true: 2023-06-16: Legolas, Master Archer's last ability triggers when you cast a spell that has multiple targets as long as at least one of those targets is a creature you don't control. It doesn't trigger multiple times if you cast a spell that targets a creature you don't control multiple times or that targets multiple creatures you don't control. 2023-06-16: If you cast a spell that targets Legolas, Master Archer and at least one creature you don't control, both of Legolas, Master Archer's abilities will trigger. You choose the order in which those triggers go on the stack
Gargos, Vicious Watcher is very similar, but stronger imo. Might try Legolas in the 99 of my Gargos deck. But: A critical mass of targeted spells combined with card draw is mandatory. So I don't think he provides enough impact. (I see now that you mentioned Gragos at the end of the video.) Legolas is half synergy, half anti synergy, kinda strange.

Budget options that are reuseable:
Whip silk
Elvish furry
Isn't Cartouche of Strength a really insane inclusion?

I was bummed when I realized those multi target spells don’t work…

@@Winterhe4rt well yeah, but that’s what I meant. You don’t get any further advantage for targeting multiple creatures. Woulda been cool
Can you also use Rancor on opponent's creatures and mow them down one at a time for 1 green ?
Good question, it won't work because it's on cast. You'd get one trigger but Rancor wouldn't return to hand unfortunately
