2012 was around when this fashion died. So a year after this video.
Maybe it's just the area they're in but probably give it a few more years and I feel the fashion would probably a lot more 90's/vintage inspired. Everyone in the vid seems to be wearing 2012 topshop fashion. For guys 2012 and a little before was peak thin cardigan, graphic tee, skinny jeans and a little bit of a fringe. People still do it but I feel nowadays but the cool style is more streetwear and retro fashion.
I would genuinely like to see a version of this in 2021

It would probably be hard to spot who's wearing headphones since most people use wireless :P
I'd love it if someone asked me what I was listening to. I love these kind of videos. I'm always walking around London with my headphones on. Haha. :)

many could be listening to curated playlists on shuffle so might not even know the artist or song that well
Watching these videos throughout the years you realize how people become more and more hostile

No, I don't think that's a problem, if the music samples are shorter than 3 seconds copyright doesn't apply, as far as I know (except if you use it as an actual sample in a song of course).
I have seen some more recent versions since, there are still people doing these.

Cool project. I've always been interested in what sort of music people like and why. Apparently in this day of easy download/storage, quite a few just "have music on" without caring too much exactly what it is. Which is great, people discovering new music. However before ipod what would those people have done? Most likely, have no headphones. Actually be (apparently - often unwillingly) involved with the humans around them. Interesting thoughts, thanks for the clip.

yes it seems they made to listen in your apartment but in fact most classical music is convenient to listen anywhere and there are tons of music fits to any emotional situation you live in a day.
