    This deck is best played with only their support from the structure deck (and some hand traps and board breakers of course) and performed decently well in the TCG and OCG due to a not unfavourable match up against Kashtira and in a lesser degree Purrely. With the current state of Master Duel, we may even consider this the best Kashtira counter around, as flipping their monsters face-down whilst not being totally annoyed by being banished is a strong feat. You might need to shuffle some handtraps around to tailor it to the Kashtira meta.

    Disclaimer for these Basics combo guides:
    1) We pretend that only have the cards in the starters or searchers header in our hand and no other cards.
    2) We will ignore the opponents' hand, unless we need them to do something to show parts of our combo.
    3) The searchers specified will be able to kick-start the combo by fetching starters. It is possible we use search cards later in the combo that aren't specified in the searchers at the start.
    4) The presented decklist may vary from the used list in the combo tutorial, as for the tutorial we want to increase the odds of pulling the combo off.
    5) The presented decklists are taking the meta into account but are often different in hindsight. Also, certain cards (especially hand traps) can be easily switched out based on preference or meta relevancy.
    The YuGiOh! Basics Series is a series of videos where we elaborately walk through different combo lines and combo strategies for different decks so you can learn how to win. Aiming to inform beginners of the deck, or just beginners to YuGiOh! in general and we perform these combos in Konami's YuGiOh! Master Duel, even though most combos work fine in the OCG/TCG too. We're hoping that these guides will give you the confidence of playing with a tier 0 deck, even though it is ranked slightly (or vastly) below that and not, as Seto Kaiba had put it, be a third rate duelist with a forth rate deck. Be as Yugi Moto, play, learn and believe in the heart of the cards!

    And is Borrelsword a great Ninja or not?

      this is great but do you have the total cost for the build?

      @@zmajor1237 3 structure decks (1500 gems) + Borrelsword (30 UR dust) is the jist of it.
      You can always include more handtraps or board breakers or other interrupts if you'd like, but that is up to you.
      This build looks like mine and reached the highest level competetively: www.masterduelmeta.com/top-decks/master-i/september-2023/ninja/%F0%9D%90%8C%F0%9D%90%A8-%F0%9D%90%98%F0%9D%90%9E/uOREv

      Yeah, it is (mostly) legal. You miss out on the best honourary Ninja in Borrelsword, but you have plenty of remaining tools to control the board. Have fun!

    You should make a video showcasing all that Ninjas have to offer 🤔

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      All you say... 🤔Oof, that will take some time as this deck is so flexible. At some point I'll probably make some videos about some more extended combos. I know that there is a very long Saryuja + Zealantis combo, which will trigger Hanzo, I believe, 3-4 times. But I have to find the dust to craft those cards first.

    how about a cyberdark combo video next? Cyberdark End Dragon is a pretty huge beater, that's hard to out. I'd like to see a well explained and not too hard way of bringing it out. Preferably without using link monsters, as those are kind of not allowed in the fusion / XYZ festival, and I wanted to use a deck that use fusion monsters. Even if it's only 1 proper fusion summon in the entire combo, to bring out the big guy.

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I just bought the Cyber Dragon structure and started off playing Cyber Dragon (with a small Cyberdark package) in the other festival but it just didn't work that well. Think I should have either focussed on more Cyberdarks, or pure Cyber Dragon.
      I have a video set for this afternoon (for the Fusion /XYZ fest - with a rather strange combination build), but lack the time for the rest of the week to make another one. But I'll put it on my to do list - for possible normal ladder or a future event.

    sol and luna seems like an interesting tech choice.

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It could definitely work well. But for some reason people opt to take Book of Moon over it, even though you'll often have the criteria to activate Sol and Luna. I'm not an expert on this card, but it looks well enough, so try it, I would say!

    • @cognitivegrub0

      Have a replay of a duel room (I am playing against myself, so I can assure my 'opponent' only does what I want it to do). Replay's ran directly from a duel room are with both hands visible.

    what is that card after cross sheep in the deck list?

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I guess you mean 'Donner, Dagger Fur Hire'. We use that as a removal tool, which you can now obviously replace with S:P Little Knight (which is better than Donner, unless you actually play Fur Hire).

    So I pulled a Super Transformation a bit ago and saved it for the structure when I learned about the leaks. Am I better off grinding it or does it have some use?

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It hasn't been played in Ninja's so far in MD (checked Master Duel Meta) or the TCG (YGO TCG Top Decks), so I definitely would not go for more than 1, also because it is easily searchable. It does has a use, but is more a gimmick.
      You can always play it for shits and giggles of course, but there are better options, so if you need the dust it is a great contender to grind it off.

    at 3:19 why would you bansih duplication ? Or is it usable only once?

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The wording on the card is a bit strange so I had to look it up myself. But the tribute is mandatory on activation and due to the trigger, we are allowed to special summon other Ninja's. The contineous part of the card is linked to its last effect stating "When this card leaves the field: Destroy those monsters." - and since none of the monsters that were summoned by this card were still linked to it and we cannot activate this card again on subsequent turns, this card on the field has lost its purpose and is therefore an excellent conditional target for Yaguramaru as you will not lose any other functional card(s).
      Obviously you can chose to banish any other Ninja or Ninjitsu card if prefered, and I can come up with situations that you might, but for my example Duplication made the most sense.
      Hope this explains it well enough. Let me know if you have other questions!
