Flowers are nature's gifts and perfume indeed. Love that. Few beautiful things in life that are free. . Rainbows, flowers, fluffy clouds on a blue sky, glistening snow on a dry day. . Anyway. Looking forward to this geezer
I love cold florals on a winters day. I wore La Colle Noir from Dior at the beginning of January for the first time, and it was so much prettier than wearing it in summer. Also Narcotic V was a beautiful chilly day choice. Absolutely love this mystical snowy setting. . Careful you don't venture too far into Narnia. . Mind you, James MaCovoy as Mr Tomnas the faun. . Yes please
I love starting out a video by bursting out laughing within the first few seconds.. Arnold- "stop whining" 😅😂 Love Tuberose is very pretty isn't it 😊 Gris Dior has left me forever wondering if I got a bad sample.. it is so strong on the muscle rub smell.. if you've ever smelled blue tansy essential oil it's just like that.. someday I must get a new sample because everyone else seems to adore it, and I do love rose but that's all I can smell is that medicinal menthol wintergreen thing. 🙈🤣 I love Moonlight in Heaven and I have an official sample from the brand, but it is so faint that it's hard for me to even smell. I spray it about once a year to see if it has intensified 😂😂 The memes were on point today 👌🏻 had me chuckling throughout 😆😁🙏🏼
Thank you 😜 Erm I don't know with the Gris Dior, loads love it but there are definitely some who cannot stand it. It's possible it just has that effect. Yes Love Tuberose is absolutely gorgeous. Moonlight in Heaven 😔 sadly I've heard that about the new versions. It's such a shame with it
I am actually surprised that you like Love Tuberose! It's maybe the last fragrance I would associate with you because of that heavy cream feel 😄 It's good though!
I completely agree with u, it surprised me. It's the greeness and the sting lily I get in it 😍. It's defo not one for a hot day 🤣. Somehow that really heavy cream is just heavenly
Gris Dior is beautiful 😍 that's gonna be on my tray for March I think 😊 I'm sad they've changed the bottle sizes, put the prices up and have been reformulating 😔
I got into perfumes just a few months ago (at the age of 54 ) so I haven’t actually smelled any of the perfumes in your video I’m sorry to say. The perfume that started it all for me was a 7,5 ml bottle of Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique that a friend gave me. I thought it was ok at first but the more I used it the more obsessed I got with it, it’s like catnip 😅 Just smelling the bottle makes me smile. Very few perfumes lasts on me but this one does.
Yes that is a beautiful one isn't it. It's only been 6yrs for me now I think. It was a Kilian that got me hooked forever. It's so strange isn't it how a beautiful smell can have such a grip on us ❤️
A very interesting list of winter florals! Two of them, POAL and Moonlight in Heaven are the quite opposite for me. I like them best in high heat, I feel they really sit right on my skin when it is hot and humid. I tested Moonlight some days ago actually, and I can see what you mean, it behaves quite different in the cold weather. I do agree that iris and orris are typical winter/spring florals, I love Feu Secret from Bruno Fazzolari (can not remember the new name of this brand on top of my head), and Iris Nazarena from Aedes des Venustas. The last one is a smoky, woody iris, it reminds me when you make fires in the spring to burn branches and twigs from the garden.
Yes I've tried Iris Nazarena actually and yes it's a lovely one isn't it, unique too. Yea I think MIH & POAL are great all year round actually aren't they. Yes iris has a very cool feel about it doesn't it, it's not my favourite note if I'm honest but in the cold I enjoy it a lot more 😊
I enjoyed hearing your choices for winter florals. Love Tuberose is super cozy and I find N°5 is best in cold (I like the L’Eau flanker for warmer months). If POAL is emo rose, then Epic woman must be totally goth. 😆 Hopefully there’s no more snow in your forecast. It’s been an exceptionally mild winter where I’m at, with record high temperatures and record low snowfalls. It’s fine though! Totally normal! 😭😂
Yes the weather and world are over aren't they. 😔 It's all messed up and we don't ever do a damn thing about it. 🤣 Yes Epic definitely is one heck of a dark brooding one isn't it. Thank you for watching 😊
Hi John. Great video. My sampling journey of Amouage has not yet included Love Tuberose... Hopefully it will happen in 2025. Gris Dior is so beautiful. So is Insolence. I'll have to try Moonlight in Heaven in cooler weather.
It really works in the cold for some reason. I think you'd love Love Tuberose, it's just gorgeous 😍 and hell yes Gris Dior just has it doesn't it, so damn good
Meo Fusciuni is such an interesting brand. One time I started smelling their fragrances after I already had smelled about 50 others. And Meo turned off my nose, which never happens 😬 Really need to try again!
Sorry if that sounded insulting, I blame the fact that English is not my own language. I did not mean to imply that you were lacking in personality… well, I hope you understand what I meant 😬
I'm actually watching this whilst dusting my bottles, and you know what, there's not many of my florals that I wear in winter, as my florals lean springy, musky, fresh. I guess I would say my very few roses... Commodity Velvet, Floris A Rose For, or DvN Soie Malaquais. Or tuberose... Bouquet Encore works really well because it has that spice, vanilla and that gorgeous woody base. God I love that perfume
@scentedsnowdrops I can't say they really need it, I mess with them far too often. You can polish your own, the best dusters are old, soft, worn out t shirts, there you go you can declutter a t shirt whilst you're at it 😜
The snow made that extra specially beautiful 😍 I enjoyed the choices too 😊
Thank you so much 😊 the snow was not pleasant 🤣
@@scentedsnowdrops I know you love it 🤣

Thank you geezer. Yes that is true and they are the best lost beautiful things 😊
POAL is definitely EMO 😂
I feel the love for Viole Nere now. 💜
Yes 😜 I wish I liked it more, very my vibe. And oh yes Viole Nere is just incredible 💜

Yes they do we to shine don't they. They are fab choices.
And yes it was horrible, so damn cold ❄️ no Aslan there sadly 🤣
Beautiful choices here, especially the POAL and Gris Dior
Thank you 😊 yes they are gorgeous aren't they 😍
I love no5 in the winter, so good 😊

It's a shame LVMH have no respect for perfume or art isn't it. I guess Mr Billionaire needs enough money to buy Belgium? 🤔
@@scentedsnowdrops 😂 Vive la Belgique! 🇧🇪

Yes I know I need to sniff the rest of them too. They sound so damn good. This one really connected with me 😍
Haven't fancied Viole Nere yet this winter, but hoping that'll change. Not been in my usual purple floral winter mind.
Yes I've worn it a couple of times now. There's plenty of winter still left Lizzie 🤣
Love watching your hands when you talk 😊
🤣 Yes I can't control them
@ well I’m glad for that, it ads personality 😃
