- Walking London’s Chelsea in Bloom 2022, which is Chelsea’s prestigious annual floral art show and London’s largest free flower festival, transforming the streets of Chelsea from the 23rd-28th May. This year’s theme is ‘British Icons’, drawing inspiration from the characters, symbols and emblems across the United Kingdom that make us Great Britain and bring us together in celebration for the upcoming Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Sights seen include: Chelsea in Bloom floral installations along Sloane Street, Sloane Square, Pavilion Road, Duke of York Square and King’s Road, with Hackett’s Best Floral Display celebrating Royal Mail, Jo Malone London’s Highly Commended illustrated corgis hidden among the garden scene, as well as Central Displays featuring The Queen's Head, Down the Rabbit Hole, Mad Hatter's Tea Party, Floral Mini, Jubilee Street Party, The Queen's Guard, Vintage Floral Post Box, Clarence the Corgi, and the Royal Coat of Arms.

Hello WW. Had a very strong feeling you'd be filming this. Been very busy attending more events with mum lately so apologies if my comments have been a bit sporadic. We went to Kent Garden Show yesterday followed by a visit to a nearby peony farm. Saturday we were at a local car show...where one of the cars on display was a Vancouver police car complete with British Columbia licence plates. I virtually fell over in disbelief and wish I'd worn my Mountie costume.
Anyhow I'm about to do my 70 min bike workout and will watch this visual treat of yours as well as catch up on others. Four day Jubilee Weekend coming up and no doubt all kinds of filming opportunities for you.
Anyhow I will catch up in all your excellent work over the next little while as well as comments from our familiar regulars. Take care WW.

Your video is Wonderful Watched Walker (WWW again!). And by an amazing co-incidence, I've seen all three Mini's at very recent Mini car shows! I recognise the number plates, including LDN 51 and the "EEL" plate. In fact, I now remember talking to one of the owners (can't recall which one) and they even commented they will be displaying their Mini at this event!
London has well and truly excelled at this event again this year and something to be SO proud of! I was intruiged to see several folks posing for photos for their friends to take and also happily posing for you and your video!
Loved Duke of York's Square at around 22:55 with all the Union Jack bunting.
At around 25:12, the Return of the Wild house reminds me so so much of a permanent landmark along Alki Beach in West Seattle, USA about 3 hours south of Vancouver, Canada. It's two houses next to each other along Alki Beach that are totally covered in flowers. You will see exactly what I mean if you Google "Alki Beach flower houses" and then click on the "Images" tab. Been past them many times and have many photos. That part of your video was a very vivid reminder and you will see what I mean if you take a look,

@@WatchedWalker Hello again WW. So here we now are on Platinum Jubilee weekend. So much coverage on TV which is great! Anyhow, just to respond to your comment above. It was so nice to come across the Mini co-incidence in your videos and it's a lovely illustration as to how your videos connect with the everyday life that Mum and I lead. Another recent and very strong example was your walk near London Olympia from Hammersmith tube station eastwards. I love this sort of thing. And now your connections to our lives has even gone international, what with the recent comparisons to Seattle USA! Very glad to hear you looked up the Alki Beach Flower houses and you can then see exactly what I mean in terms of similarities to what you filmed in London.
