Usually pretty clean after a wash and I catch anything else wiping it off. 👍

Id recommend getting one of the hand pumped weed sprayers with the wand for spraying your cleaner/degreaser on the kart while washing... theyre fairly cheap and make it quicker and easier

Good video, I am one that has washed my kart typically the Sunday after raceday and have always sprayed the bearings down with lubricants after the fact.. Now you have me thinking about removing all the bearings as well.. My engine builder does it want me to “wash” the engine down so that’s coming off weekly as well now.. Also, don’t worry about your intro, just do it and make sure you Rep Trac Tac as needed.. I am using more of their product as well.

They’re fine as long as you don’t blast a pressure washer right at them

Hey dude this is totally off topic from your video, I wanted to message you privately but couldn’t figure out how. Anyway, big fan of your channel I heard you say you live close to hunterstown PA? So I’m wondering if you’d like to come race at my track in Dillsburg, PA called “The Turns” it’s a sweet clay oval carved out in the middle of the woods. It’s super banked and small with elevation change so it’s super unique. It has pits and all the amenities it’s just a more relaxed racing program. Just friends and family but we love competition. We run stock 212’s with the governor removed, a pipe, and an air filter. If this interest you just let me know and we can get in contact. If not, that’s all good too! Cheers!

That sounds awesome. Idk what my schedule is this year. Getting use to this clone and running my open some. Appreciate the offer for sure.

I remove the bearing after each race, clean them out with used brake clean and a brush, rinse them with fresh brake clean and store them in clean motor oil until reassembly a few days later. I’m still looking for an oil that won’t leak out the seals but doesn’t bind the bearings either excess viscosity. For now I pack them with light oil and wipe the excess.

We wash with the bearings on the kart. I clean them weekly anyways. Any water that gets in there is gone with wd40 and then the triflow i spray tham with. We ran our last set of bearings 2 seasons. Just switched to ceramic this year.

    Keep using your phone.
Also keep being yourself and speaking the way you've always said stuff.
That last proper language you did kinda turned me off.
Thanks for your time to help improve our racing knowledge.
    Love ya Ben

I wash my kart the same way. And instead of drying it with the air/compressor i have a Master blaster, looks like a vacum but blows hot air 🤷‍♂️. Its my Sunday ritual.
