I would like to disagree with that. From a movie perspective it is going to be repetitive af with little story telling. Racer beating other racers one by one to reach the end. There aren’t any plot twists in the middle, traumas for the main character, and plot twists in the middle of his journey to number one. How are you going to direct our character collecting bounty and beating milestones? Unless they come up with a new script to fill the hole between the beginning and end events.
The storyline is actually pretty interesting when you look into it. Mia was actually an undercover cop all along, and she used you to take out Razor and the blacklist once and for all. She believed in you, and for that she granted you your freedom...
That's why I love her.
Why did she help the racer?
And funnily enough that’s what inspired Undercover. It basically followed the same formula…

We learn though later in Carbon that as you escaped Rockport being basically _the_ most wanted street racer, Cross eventually found you in Palmont and impounded your car…

You actually gotta thank razor for taking your gtr. If it wasn't for that, your gtr wouldn't have an insane amount of upgrades like how it did in the end.
I love the badass dialogue in the cutscenes it feels exactly that you're getting in trouble and doing something illegal
The greatest part of this game is that you get your car back in the end and have the biggest police chase in the game, I havent been able to get the same feelings with NFS payback or heat like I did for this 1!

MT Bil og Motorsport - It makes sense. Mustangs have a lot of top end and when i was racing a 5.0 mustang in my BMW i would wait for him yo shift first then i’d shift so i don’t fall behind and i keep pulling. Looks like you guys need to learn about racing and cars.

When Cross was talking about the "tearing you inside and out " I think he was mentioning Mia who was undercover
Mia being undercover cop was implied through the entire storyline.
At one point Mia gives you a device to check your rap sheet with Cross' login and password- how would she ever get her hands on this thing in the first place?
Then she lets you know she's placing bets on you, then tells you to just focus on the winning.
Later Rog says he doesn't like Mia, because her behavior is very suspicious.
And Razor figured out there's something wrong and accuses you of working with police (which you actually do)

The most valuable items IMO are actually not the cars but Junkman parts. If you never tried full Junkman Carrera GT you should replay the game just to try to get that car, it smokes just everything and everyone you could possiby think of.

Specially those were the good old times of the born in 90's people...... We had some amazing memories when rolling up on the streets of Rockport city and smashing into those breakable stuff to beat the cops... Remember the Golf Ground?? Stadium ?? Harbour ?? Freeway ?? I don't understand why razor sabotages your car like that in order to take it from you. A huge oil slick at the start line means your engine block is cracked. If you blow your engine, razor would have to swap it. The engine is the most important thing and the main reason why you would want to have that car, and it's one of the rarest engines in the world. BMW only made 10 Street legal M3 GTR and a few race car versions.

After all these years coming back and oaying attention to the story there were so many obvious indicators that mia was a fed who ended up using you to take down the black list but also for her personal vendetta against razor
all i needed in this game was my Cobalt SS, i loved that car in that game

In online play on the PSP, the Gallardo was by far the best car in the game. The next best car (if raced perfectly) was the Mitsubishi eclipse. It did not have a top speed for some reason. After hitting about 200 or so, the car would gradually gain speed beyond what any of its stats said it could (it's handling was also best in the game). Before cheaters ruined the game with 0:00 lap time VW golf runs, I had the top time on Main & Terminal forward and reverse, and most of the top times on City Power, forward and reverse. The M3GTR was honestly middle tier as far as the PSP went as its top speed was rather low and plateaued severely at a cap far below the Gallardo's. This game is something that I will always treasure and remember and is perhaps the greatest street racing games of all time. Watching this video makes me wanna pick up the PC version and tear apart the Black List once more.

This had the best storyline of all time in my opinion lol. I was so excited to claim the blacklist I was juiced... great balance!!!!
One thing I never understood about this story, is why Razor was picking on us from the start while only being #15 on the blacklist, its not like he owned the streets.
Yeah, it's a weird thing. Razor was number 15 but also acts like he created the crew. Maybe he did but stayed behind the scenes while Bull and Ronnie were the number 1 and 2, and incidentally. Razor was number 15 without actively trying to be the most wanted
Also, I realised that Razor was ready to steal your car by force from the moment he saw you, he ultimately took the "steal your car by sabotaging the race" approach rather than plain Grand Theft Auto. And you know...Trying to have you killed in a car accident courtesy of Bull before racing him
@@yannkam2127 actaully, Ronnie and Bull were not on the blacklist at the time, I think the actual #1 racer on the blacklist before the player got thrown in jail was JV. Because his bio says that he has cops swarming around his viper all the time. Which does hint that he used to be #1 on the blacklist before Razor and his boys got to the top 3.

I think after the lady runs for the units she says before the pursuit event (where you have to go to the old britge sorry for misspelling )she says we have the bmw m3 gtr driver that is agressevly evading custody, all units to pursuit now!
It's about being unique and looking good in front of peers. Anyone can buy a car, but you'll rarely see cars with the exact same custom jobs on their hood.

Lmao no? There are multiple hints throughout the whole game that indicate something is wrong. Razor sends you a few messages saying he knows either you or someone with you is working for the cops. Then at the end we learn that Mia was actually undercover. So no, it wasn't forgotten at all.

the cutscenes are different than how it actually is in the game for some reason...in the scenes it is a C6.R but other than that it is just a regular Vette with a bodykit
