My world start area which i've invested time into has a ravine splitting the land mass in half : 2 biomes separated so going to the forest is a pain (until i get portals) Is there a practical method to build golden gate style bridges without god mode? we're talking huge bridges that would require at least 4 tall struts. & i havent yet got the stonecutter wheel.
The only way I could think of is to build tall temporary support columns to support your bridge (these can be anywhere as long as they come into contact with the bridge). Then once your bridge platform is built use some of the alternative snapping options to build the actual support columns from the bridge down to the ground. Hope this makes sense and helps! Edit: Obviously you may be limited without the use of stone, depending on the height you need to build
As mentioned it’s pretty much the same in survival, just a lot of gathering for supplies and scaffold building. I don’t have the time to go through it in survival unfortunately, otherwise it would be way more difficult to get videos out.
Personally I don’t have an endless amount of time to spend playing Valheim, as much as I wish I did. So if it wasn’t for dev commands and mods I wouldn’t have the opportunity to share the things I build with others, others that do find these types of builds helpful when it comes to their own builds They may be useless to you but to many others they are very useful.
Last bridge was worth the 12 minutes. Great job!
The trick with mushroms is such a fenomal and a cheap idea for light source! Thanks!
Needed to find a good use for them somehow!
That last bridge tho, dang! Looks amazing! :3
really neet trick with the glowing mushrooms man! def earned my sub keep up the cool work
Thanks, much appreciated. I knew when the idea popped into my head I had to share it, too good to keep to myself!
Mushroom idea is incredible, sharp mind 👌🏽
I'm in love with the last one!!!

Haven't played ashlands yet but those new wood blocks are even cooler.

Awesome, subbed
Wait. From the 2nd build mobs can path through the bridges, no?
Yep, these bridges are more focused on being aesthetically pleasing builds rather than mob proof ones
👍👍👍
Still haven't gotten the hang of the snap point key yet? lol. Results the same, w/e.
Old habits die hard apparently, I keep forgetting that the other snapping options are a thing!
@@meancuppajoe Don't really need to worry about it when you're flying, but building legit it's a godsend.
well when i building bridges i mostly care about them not being smash by log troll
Trolls in general might just be the bane of my life!

Mushrooms? 226!

Bruh show me how in survival not creative.
its the same in survival, you just need to find the items yourself and make the moat for the bridge manually. which naturally.... takes time.

Cheat builds are useless
