    Sí, pero son muy caros.

Great video. Some form of marking gauge is petty much indispensible to me before routing channels, in order to minimise tearout and fuzzies, especially on softwood tops. I made my own from scrap dowel and an xacto blade and it is much better than my violin makers marker. This looks fantastic. Also useful to use some sort of marking gauge for rosettes and soundholes, but I haven't found one of adequate quality to ensure consistent circles, so some trial and error is always needed. PS. My violin makers one is an Ibex. It isn't that good.

There are several high quality rosette cutters, but they are expensive. In fact Murat (who made this tool) makes a nice one.

Do you find it cuts a channel clean enough for use - or is there a lot of clean up compared to a router?

I don't use a router so can't really make the comparison. As with any hand tool, practice will perfect your technique. I've seen guys do a top in minutes perfectly but that won't happen the 1st time or maybe the 10th time. But for those interested in building guitars with hand tools, this is a nice tool.

I like the control of the hand tool... needless to say, a hand router gives NO second chances!!!

I used a Dremel a time or two and went back to the hand method.

The Dremel works, but if you even think of climb cutting... well, that's when the fun begins!

you should push a marking gauge not pull

Pat Bassman generally true but depends on grain, etc. I have a wheel gauge i love and do both pull and push. I should add that Chris Schwarz pulls his. To make it more complicated this tool us essentially a slitting gauge and i prefer pulling a slitting gauge though to each his own.

This thing simply does not exist for purchase.

The maker makes them one or two at a time and posts on his Etsy shop so they are available. In fact he makes a couple if different designs. But in sure at times he might be sold out
