@@DinoDays703 I'm a year late, but here to correct that. Cadets only salute actual enlisted personnel when reporting in. Cadets salute actual officers like normal.
What I was told is that the only time you have to salute is when the command is given or when your in front of a promotion board. We honestly don't care if you salute us or not. But that's just the Army JROTC way.

It’s intended to be a goofy educational comedy. Our squadron wasn’t really this strict, but these were, at the time, National AFJROTC standards. Errors to point out: 1. No, unless your reporting into a drill formation or color guard, you don't need to salute the sgt, chief, major, colonel, or general who's ur aerospace instructor. saying their appropriate rank when addressing them is enough. 2. the ropes were incorrectly pinned and worn - no part or loops in the cord should be dangling outside your arm (bruh as a friggin C/COL she should know this 1st year fact). 3. the covering-hand salute was a horribly comical one - at least do a wrong non-USAF salute lol. 4. and his AND her attitude were horrible, a little too much so lol - a c/col doesn't report a junior cadet for simply not saluting (and saluting cadets of higher rank isn't even common practice), and the c/AB should be willing to learn the proper methods - if not, he doesn't need to be a cadet. When I was in AFJROTC in highschool, I tried to salute an officer (my commander in my class) after school as I was walking to my bus. I salute, and he says "SSGT, what are you doing? Schools over!" The next day, I reported him and he was demoted. 😀😀😀
