It was a good call to run the hire car on the track.
Each car is build for a particular use and the big Porsche aint a track car.
Maybe give the ole Punto a hoon on the ring ;)

987 Cayman or Boxster, much more reliable than the V8 M3 (except the 987.1 S) and surprisingly comfortable

I’m still traumatised from the running costs of the Cayenne to consider another Porsche 😂 but the Cayman, and the boxster are great cars.
