Currently in demo stage of 94 bass tracker 18 pro tournament . A few differences in the layout as this boat for the most part same idea. These videos are a life saver . Thank you for the thorough videos and details. Very nice work 👍🏼
The attention to detail that you put into this was absolutely amazing! Great work! Where are you located, I would have you do my boat. Stay safe, and God bless
Nice job. My only complaint/recommendation is that you have to remove the hinges to get it to adhere properly to the lids. Otherwise after some wear it will just come right back up in my experience.
@BassBrothersFishingDMV I'm like 20 mins north of myrtle beach just inside nc. I have spoke to prolly 7 different ppl but there either backed up for 6 months on seadek installs in Ocean rigs or they don't even do bass boats
Awesome video. Just a question-- The carpet on my tracker is in good shape everywhere except the front deck where I stand and fish. Can I just tear out the carpet from the deck only, or do you inevitably have to remove the carpet from the sides of the hull as well?
Depends. Some tracker boats are carpeted wall and floor in one piece. In this case you probably want to replace both the side wall and deck but when you replace it see if you can do it separately. Side walls separate from your front deck. This way you can just do the front deck replacement in the future if needed.
This is so satisfying to watch. Takes a lot of guts for a regular hobby guy to begin a project like this. I’m curious exactly how many man hours went into this?
I didnt hear it on the video, but when using the carpet adhesive, you need to let it tack up as well, or it will bleed through the material and squeeze out any opening over time with foot traffic and become a nasty mess.
@okiefish7066 Carpet adhesive does not need to tack up before applying the carpet. If you have that kind of issue then you're using too much adhesive. Contact Cement needs to tack up before applying carpet.
What type of carpet are you using? I was looking at the Dorsett stuff for a different application, but I wasn't sure about the thickness or how easy it was to line up the seams.
I know the owner of this Bass Traker has got to be impressed with the hard work and detail you have put into this build. Great video! Tight Lines!!!
Yessirrr!!!!
Im very pleased!

Thinking I might do my 1994 Pro 18 also. I am going to sell it but I think I can a better price if I detail it and replace the carpet.
Picking up a fisher marsh hawk c3 this week. This video has been a big motivation to get working on it. I’ll see you on the water in DMV baby!!!
Yessirr
Just got a 1989 Tx17. Carpet is pretty fragile. I'll be replacing it over the winter. Thanks for the tips!
Awesome. 👍🏽
Very good job. Very impressive

Good job redoing my carpet soon😊
Great job! Quick tip, try drilling the head off those rusted screws with a 3/16 drill bit, should be much quicker if you have a similar job again.
Finally got mine done … getting my new engine put on this week.. good video 🤙🏽
Thanks 👍🏾🤙🏾

New subscriber. Great videos. Do you have a list of the glues, carpet and other items you used?
Awesome job! Been trying to hire someone to do my bass boat in my area but not many ppl doing this it seems.
You in NC?
Yea. Down below wilmington

@@BassBrothersFishingDMV Thanks so much. Really helpful!
How long did the build take?
This is so satisfying to watch. Takes a lot of guts for a regular hobby guy to begin a project like this. I’m curious exactly how many man hours went into this?
About 300 hours.
@@BassBrothersFishingDMV oh wow.
@@BassBrothersFishingDMV that’s 38 days if you do 8hrs a day every single day.
The adhesive is not curing under my carpet . Vevor marine carpet
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
How much time has it been. It can take up to 3 days. Maybe you used too much adhesive. Did you use a Trowel to spread the adhesive?
Where did you get the carpet from? And how much did you order?
Did you ever find out where he bought it ?

How did u get the old carpet off?
Zylene and light wire brush and Sander
What carpet do you use?
Why couldn't you just use contact cement for all the glue down?
The contact cement doesn't allow you much room to lift and shift the carpet. Not a good idea for big pieces.
@@BassBrothersFishingDMV that's what I was thinking. Just wanted to confirm.
@BassBrothersFishingDMV what carpet do you use? Trying to replace the carpet in my tige

Did you use 16 or 20 ounce?
20oz
Can you do mine lol
Notice you got no response. 😂😂😂 guess that’s a no.
background music is very distracting
Great job!!
