Wow! Such an amazing experience. Bucket list item for sure. Glad you included the info about the huskies. I was wondering why the looked different-and LOVE that Siberian huskies were bred to “keep the women and children warm”😂
@@Caitlinmcfadden22 aww thank you! Yes I thought that was super interesting. The guides are so knowledgable so it’s a huge bonus that you not only get to do the experience but you learn about everything too! ❄️
Such a wonderful video! And, congratulations on your engagement!What month did you go? Also, if you could only do one ride, would it be the reindeer or husky? Thanks so much!
@@ElizabethMcM thank you so much 🥰 we went during January! Ooo tough question - ultimately I think the husky ride was my favorite but it was a LOT more intense because you’re driving it. So if you’re up for the adventure, I would say husky but if you’re looking for more relaxing/enjoying the scenery, I would say reindeer!
absolutely! I always link everything in the TH-cam description for your easy access, but here are the specific links from this video: ❄ ⇨ EXCURSIONS WE BOOKED: Husky Safari: gyg.me/f7VgzO0D Reindeer Safari: gyg.me/YWJJb6n1
It's funny because if you tell people in the States, they often think you're crazy to go somewhere that cold! But now that we've been there we learned that it's the norm ❄️
Honestly, it went by fast for both experiences! One hour was definitely a good length for reindeer. For Husky, because Steven was able to drive I would say it was good as an hour... but if I had to drive I'm not sure if I would've been able to last that long 😅 So it depends on the driver's stamina!
Chemical hand warmer pouches could be really helpful on a ride like that.. Nice video! :)
ABSOLUTELY! Highly recommend. And if you forget to bring them from home, they are for sale in the grocery stores in Rovaniemi!

Finland 🇫🇮
That looked like so much fun, the scenery was beautiful and the doggies were so cute 😊 ! And the reindeer one looked like even more fun!
aww thank you! It really was incredible - both of them felt like a beautiful wintery dream! ☃
@JessicaFaye508 Oh I'm sure !

Why would it sound weird coming to Finland at the middle of winter? In Lapland the middle of winter is the peak tourist season. :)

Was 1 hour too long?
