Oh, I love your parents Chris. It doesn't surprise me that you turned out as well as you did with people like that behind you. Can you imagine how much better the world would be if everyone had the opportunity to grow up with supportive parents who remained married? That support and solid stability is what allows a person to take chances and go for their dreams without worrying about what might happen if they fall flat.

To me it is so awesome to see parents like yours, who love you for who you are vs who you are attracted to. They are so comfortable with you and Brett!
I'm the same age as Brett 😊 and I'm generally attracted to younger guys.... but I don't think I'll ever be lucky enough to have a younger boyfriend, especially one whose parents are a accepting as yours. I'll never say never... but I just don't feel that it's likely to happen for me. Nevertheless... I'm so happy for you and Brett!! This was fun and cute. We have a 26 year age gap. My dad (72) took it extremely well. He had a smaller 10 year gap with my mom. I'm grateful that while he's a traditional conservative, he was only concerned with if his daughter is happy or not. Your mom said it beautifully: love is love!
