The simple things in life are the best and most important. Food, warmth, shelter, looking at the sky, listening to the wind, feeling the rain on your face, being at one with nature.
❤You are like my father. I was out with my father to the Frozen Sea for camping in Norway. I would like to bring all memories back ever since my childhood, this is kind of my lifestyle being cozy and simple, I love being in PEACE with the NATURE SO MUCH! YOU ARE MY HERO!
Been enjoying your trips for the past few months now since i found your channel, I've said it before but thanks for sharing your adventures it motivates me to get out more and enjoy nature. Cheers from Canada🇨🇦
Wow! That wind is something else!! Have you ever heard of a kabob? It's the same as you do when you're cooking your meat like in this video; but in smaller pieces. It cooks in a lot less time. Just a thought. Excellent video!!
It is so relaxing watching you videos, Hello from Black Forest, germany, here we can just stay 1 night, no fire and much more rules, even in the own forest.
This guy has passion, heart, soul, he truly loves the out door world, I take my hat off to him and showing us his skills and passion colin from Surrey England 👍 👏 ❤

Just watched your video tonight for the very first time. Not that bad at all. I mean you're not no Outdoor Boys videos . I think I would make my shelter against the wind coming off the water. But it sure was pretty all the snow.
I'm so glad to see you got a new saw.saw... I spent 27 years out in the field remember the mountain Man show on the History channel mountain men. Tom there was two of them I knew both of them I'm Scott.... Welsh a lot of years I'm glad to see young people still going out and doing the mountain Man style living.... GOD BLESS YOUR ADVENTURES
Okay guys, get some decent size rocks. Then dig a shallow pit where you intend to have a fire. Ring the pit with the stones. Then light a fire with a wooden floor and dried bows.
Awesome really enjoyed that. I love how everything you use or make is from your surroundings. I enjoy the roughing it up style you do in the extreme weather. No pots or nice shelters with fancy equipment just a dude and his hatchet 💪💪🤟🤟❤❤ Kia ora from New Zealand brother 😍😍
word of caution..using water soaked rocks for a firepit is dangerous..the rocks soak the water deep inside of the rock that may have been in the water for hundreds of years can explode because superheated steam will build high pressure inside the rocks core. This will cause the rock to explode like a grenade and scattering your fire 3 or 4 meters while sending rock fragment with such force it could kill your or hurt anyone near the firepit..I see it happen once, luckily we wasn't injured but it sure got our adrenaline going and made a note to never use wet rocks around a campfire!
@@ritajimmie3361 the rocks we were using came from a small rocky creek bed that was just a few inches higher than the water level so they probably got submerged every time it rained for the past 10,000 years. We were camping the night before deer season near the water and the temps dipped down to close to brutal 10-F that we wasn't anticipating so we heated the rocks to place in our sleeping bags to stay a bit warmer. So these rocks were directly in the fire for 30 to 40 mins before one exploded!
It goes to show everything in nature is free even a coconut 🥥 the saw pretty neat too that definitely comes in handy watching you like a history lesson very good 👍 Andrew south wales uk 👍 👌 😀 🇬🇧
Excellent video and another great shelter. I like how you kayak in the middle of winter. My cousin and I built wood and canvas kayaks in the early 60s. Spent a lot of time kayaking on the Wisconsin River, state of Wisconsin, USA, and camping on sandbars, with our minimal gear stuffed into our kayaks like you do. Thanks for the video and adventure!😊
I see you put a reflector behind the fire. How about black subtitles in snow videos and white in summer vids? You doing good freezing your whats off out there.😂
I love watching winter solo camping. Often they are tent videos. This is much more basic and challenging. I was surprised when you got into the lake! Really enjoyed the video.
What is your favourite food when you are out in the nature ? By the way you videos are getting better and better it looks so good when you are kayaking and around you is just sea and snowy islands with trees on it, keep that good content! Coconut just arrived from Africa 😂😂
Marvelous vid cold and snowy weather. Nice building kept warm against the elements. You're definitely awesome I'm cold water. Take care until next time.
Your bathing in such cold water after a cold night is always unbelievable to me. What do You think about this saw ? looks like had no problem with the midle wood ... it was so cold camp, great shelter 👍🏻

Picturesque snowfall, the sound of rushing water, and a sparkling campfire, nature at its finest, I love this video.
I really like your video 👍
Interesting/informative/entertaining. Enjoy viewing different scenery from different types of terrain.😉

Do you ever go back to revisit shelters you've made in the past to see how they're holding up? I'd be interested in seeing that.

That swim in that cold water gave me the chills 😊😊
You always seem to half build your shelter the first day.. but I enjoy watching your videos. Good job 👍
What a brave adventurer, may God protect you, and I wish you a happy life
