What I love about this hire is two things. One is chip kelly is an absolutely great play caller and innovator. Two is I think Patrick Graham gets the keys after Carroll, and I doubt teams will want to hire Kelly as a HC so we probably have a great OC for years to come
No one can give us a better breakdown of Will Howard than Chip. If we draft Will Howard he will already know the offense and the verbiage.
Howard has the size and some good tools. Doubt he is a 1st year NFL starter but could be a good Qb with development
I watched Chip Kelly since his Oregon Ducks days. WoW Chip Kelly, the former head coach of the Oregon Ducks, implemented a no-huddle offense that confused opposing defenses with its speed and explosive running game. Michael Vick In 2013, Vick became the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. Raiders just need a QB similar to what Kingsbury got in Daniels. In FA Sam Darnold or Fields or Russ Wilson or Aaron Rodgers or Stanford. In Draft one of the top QB Dart or Milrose or Sanders or Ward. It's getting pretty interesting what Brady Spytek and Carol and the Ocean 11 investors now got Chip Kelly has their new OC I like it this move is their best move yet. This opens up a lot of options for the Raiders can do now a lot more on Offense. This is a Dream team of coaches the Raiders have put together.

Hopefully in Free Agency and draft gives Skytek a chance of getting the Raiders just what need a QB similar to what Kingsbury got in Daniels. What I like the most about this is, Chip Kelly seems content with being JUST an OC for a bit. He willingly left UCLA as a HC to go to Ohio St. to be a OC. That's just a weird move to do in general, unless you want to specifically advertise yourself as OC not a HC

Pete Carroll is all about RUNNING THE BALL & STOPPING THE RUN. Chip Kelly's offense is all about running the ball.
Living in Oregon I'm very familiar with Chip, with the right personnel his offense can score in bunches

What if and this is a big what if. Chip just stays the OC and doesn't try to just use us as leverage for a HC job next year. Most guys don't get 3 chances at HC would could get something crazy going under Carroll. I'm super excited for this coaching staff
