His pitch while singing live is perfectly good. He may not have the best range but he sure got an amazing control of his voice. That's why it sounds great. And the background singer makes it even better with his high vocals/incredible harmonies.

It's fast, upbeat music with punk attitude mixed with catchy pop hooks and harmonized vocals. That's what green day did. They've taken a more alternative route in recent albums but there's no doubt they began as a pop-punk outfit.
@noodle4313 I like both bands too. And that's what I was saying - Blink has a better songwriting skills while Simple Plan can put on better live show. I was also saying that SP is very underrated.
