So, the people like it, but the business owners don't. Seems like an easy decision to me...

The street might get some better businesses with additional pedestrianisation. And/or some better Business Owners (TM).

No, you just get poor people who can't afford cars and who buy nothing that needs a car to transport. Plante killed hundreds of businesses and ruined as many families with her medievalization plans.

We don't want a consultation. St Catherine should be entirely pedestrianized except for delivery trucks. Also, there are loads of back end entrances on st catherine you can pull into to deliver merch.

Wish we did more of this in other cities like Toronto and Vancouver, Montreal has been 2 steps ahead

It’s costs 3.75$ to get on a bus in Montreal. That’s a terrible thing!
      Way too expensive. Public transit
is for lower income people. The fare
should represent that. It’s a disgrace!
What’s next?!?! Soon 5$ for a bus trip!!!

Business owners have been consistently wrong; opposing projects like pedestrianization and bike lanes along their corridors, then seeing increase in business.

No, that's false. The bike lane on Pine killed absolutely all business there, same for all business on the north side of Rachel. Preventing anyone that lives "not a walking distance" away from shopping at your store never helped anyone.

Montreal's population is increasing so quickly, honestly, who cares about those outside the city? Why should we model our city based on THEIR needs?
