We had 30 years ago phaesants. We stopped because they are no animals to keep in a cage. They are allways on the outside off their cage looking for a way to get out. What is the fun of that.
I don't seem to have this problem, mine seem to prefer the middle areas when I'm not around. But head to the back when I am. If they started to pace like zoo animals, then I would probably change to something else
Very nice, it looks really good, those 2 have a lot of space until the others come in.

I'm more of a fan of quail but pheasant is good too.
