Hey Awesome Building Casting Deck for your Boat video Land and Bay Fishing !! Keep up the amazing work Land and Bay Fishing !! Thanks for the hard work and dedication you put into making these awesome videos for us Land and Bay Fishing !! I can’t wait for the next video Land and Bay Fishing !! Cheers William !!
Hope you have more success with your proline than the mate did. 6 months old and it’s back in the shop getting welded up again. With one of the bigger cracks you will see on a tinny.
Nice work Wayne. I have been tossing up for a while whether to extend my casting deck like this. You have just inspired me to have a crack at it. Gotta watch what I spend though after being laid off due to Corona.
Hi Wayne, is there anything you would do differently with the cast deck. I have been going over ideas of mine and thinking to make mine modular and to use rivnuts to secure frames to ribs n seats ect that want can be removed if required easily…. Love your videos though and always look forward to knew videos
Did you use full alloy rivots, the stem in cheaper rivets are steel which could lead to Electrolysis and failure. Im not actually sure if steel stemed would be a big issue but something to consider. Nice job.
I was only saying to Steve from Moreton Bay Able Anglers that I hadn’t seen one of your videos lately, so this was a real treat. OK so its maybe over engineered but do the job properly, as you have done, and it won’t ever need redoing. As always you do a neat job and it certainly shows in the end product, keep up the videos mate they make my day.
Good stuff mate. I'm doing a similar think to mine soon. How thick is the ali angle? Where you happy with the thickness and strength? I'm attempting to make my whole deck removable, see how it goes! Cheers.
Is the original floor supports welded or pop riveted
Welded
Its looking really good, well done.

Hi Mr B. Happy with the casting deck. Rivnuts would work but doubtful as to needing to remove it.

Thanks Aussie. To be honest I’m not sure.

Glad you liked it. Almost 2 years ago. Not sure of the sizes.
Hi Wayne
That looks great! Did you put another floor in between the rear seat and deck? If so any photos..
No. Left the old floor there for the moment.
Thanks for watching
Great work there Wayne, wishing i have a boat sometimes other than a Kayak. Was that a home made live tank.
David Sager no, given to me a while back. It’s a poly tank.
Great Video Wayne, looks like a good job. I'm working on a similar build series, Would love for you to check it out and give me your thoughts!
