Don’t ever apologize for taking any time off. We should all be adult enough to understand you are living real busy lives and not solely for us. I appreciate all you do to bring us content!! I would love to see some Lizie videos.
I'm all for seeing Lizzie on camera more! This enterprise is a family affair, so it makes perfect sense for her to share her knowledge and perspective and make videos of her own on the channel. Good times ahead for the Sheep Game in 2024!
Glad you're concentrating on a quality breed that will hopefully launch your flock forward. You and LIzzie make an excellent team. I am in awe of Lizzie and all she does with being a shepherdess, a mother, a wife, a homemaker and carrying a new Wilson baby. You too amaze me with the many inventive ways to make ends meet from shearing, videos, merchandise, filming podcasts, scanning as well as being a dad, a husband and farmer. I'm exhausted thinking of all you do. Your boys are adorable and growing fast And there's another coming. Thank you for sharing and as others have said, don't apologize when you have to devote time to family. Family is more important always. Love to you and the family.
I think Lizzy would do great videos but it’s another big job for her to take on. Congratulations ! Sorry Cammie but it can be seen in your face the stress you’ve been under. We certainly understand that your family and farm come first. We’re honored to be part of your life, that you’ve openly shared with us.
Yes, more Lizzie. I love watching your world. This old (68) lady in the USA is very fascinated with what you guys are up to. My son has a bunch of sheep, mainly to keep the grass under control on his homestead here in Oregon.
It's lovely to see Lizzie on the camera, total superwoman and pregnant too. Hope Jock is feeling better. bless him. Fab video as always. I'm sure we all understand if some videos haven't come out. Life takes over, and that's more important. Take care all. 😊
Please please please do a LizzieCam. I would love to see what her life is like, get a small glimpse of her thought processes. I cannot believe how much she does and it’s honestly goals
You can count me in for any videos Lizzy is excited to make!! I'm from about an hour north of California's San Fransisco, where my family and I have a very modest homesteading project going on. I'm always fascinated by folks like you with a good sized family operation going on, it's amazing and inspiring to see how much 10 people or less can accomplish together. Your animals are lovely, can't wait to see future updates on your flock and other projects!
I’d love to see more from Lizzie. She’s a grafter. I have the utmost respect for both of you. The work is relentless. Good luck with the flock improvements 👍
Great to see you back , glad that everyone is well & Happy New Year to you and your family. I can understand Lizzie’s reluctance to get in front of the camera but personally I enjoy every moment of watching any footage from TheSheep Game. You are an incredibly hard working couple and it’s great to see your skills put into action with the sheep. Good work and congratulations on the announcement of another baby on the way. 👍
No need to apologise...I'm amazed at all that you do already ...I do hope that all goes well with all of your plans...I do love your family and all the best for 2024😁💖🌠
Another fantastic video!! All of your hard work is just amazing, I feel badly watching sitting under a heated blanket on my couch. 😂 we would love to see Lizzie’s updates - she’s an inspiration.
YAY, another baby! I really look forward to seeing more from Lizzie, its important to show all the ways that things get done around the farm. I agree that Lizzie is superhuman and (as we americans say) 'your better half' (yes, that's a compliment to both of you). I started watching you because of Sheepishly Me, so you can understand why I want to see more from Lizzie, lol. You, Sandi, and Tara (from Australia) are all amazing.
Thanks for the merch guys. I have two boys, very proud of their new gear, for up on the croft, or into preschool. Kids hoodie is absolutely top quality. 👌
congratulations on the new addition to The Sheep Game team - love to see some vlogs from you Lizzie - with the boys, the sheep flocks and your pregnancy we understand you have quite a bit on your plate - they don't have to be long just catch us up on what is happening at your end with the sheep
Thanks for the update! So glad that you got to hire someone to help you both!! Boy those expensive sheep look great! Bravo for cutting the chord on the sheep with physical problems. Know it has been going on awhile.. tough to deal with. You have done your best but you need to look to the future. Thanks for sharing.. love from the USA!
Yes! Lizzie please do this. You will give our young sisters a roadmap on how to be a strong capable woman. Your soft voice behind the camera is perfect. I loved the ending with Jock! You handled that brilliantly. We want to just see you being you doing you things.
Love what you and Lizzie do, love your family, and II'd love for Lizzie to have her own TH-cam channel. As a woman, I'd love to see her take on things. You really hit the jackpot when you found Lizzie and became a family!
Awe congratulations lizzy and Cammy hopefully a little girl.. i would love to see Lizzy's videos shes amazing at what she dose a mother and a farmer. Lizzy your my idol. Thanks for sharing with us..
In New Zealand, we run about 120-150 ewes per ram. But my grandfather talks about running 300 ewes to the ram for 2.5 cycles in the 80s when subsidies were removed and money was tight.
Back then, wool was the main income source, lambs were not worth much. I can remember good 5 year ewes selling at $4 each, and fat lambs were only making $12. The station I was working on only put rams with the ewes for 3 weeks, about 80% got in lamb. The rest were farmed just for the wool. Some farmers stopped mating the ewes completely for a few years and just farmed for the wool. How times have changed!
Glad to see you both back, missed the videos, Congratulations on the great news with Lizzy's pregnancy, Cheviots looking really good, putting the Rams (Tups out) is always exciting as its a start of a new year, then the anticipation starts.....
Lizzie, you are a superhero! All the work you do with a sick little one on your hip and a “babe in the oven” is more than amazing! I would definitely subscribe to your channel! Congratulations to the both of you on your pregnancy!
Can’t wait for all the lambing videos Cammy!! 🐏You’d think by the time I’ve finished lambing I’d be sick of seeing lambs but having your vids to look forward to after I’ve finished is great! 😄 Tell Lizzy we’d love to see more of her in the vids & what a super women she is! Hope I’m as good as Lizzy balancing the farm and kids when my time comes with children 😊💪🏻
I would love to see videos/vlogs from Lizzie. Cammy, you work Lizzie hard. Plus, you got to remember Lizzie has a huge workload with the boys & being pregnant.
I’d love to hear more about how/ why you selected those breeding groups. The strategy about the blue ram compensating for feet issues was super interesting. Thanks for sharing.
I love Lizzie. She is such a great Mam, sheep farmer and so knowledgable. It’s great that you have taken on a new member of staff to ease the burden. Best of luck in 2024. Life looks good for you guys. Keep it up, you are all amazing.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely another beautiful day and another spectacular beautiful sharing and congratulations on the very good news .. appreciate your efforts and hard work for sharing your beautiful lifestyle documentary video channel .. Merci beaucoup
My goodness. Thank you for such clear updates, looking forward to seeing Lizzie’s content. You are doing an incredible job of showcasing sheep farming, and farming in general with Iona and the Fed by Farmers podcast. The forecast for Ayrshire doesn’t look as bad as for some, this coming weekend. One blessing.
Thank goodness for the tipsy bin. I persuaded the dairy farmer who leaves heifers with us for the summer to get one, he ended up getting two. One to deliver and one to take away, saving fuel. So much easier for us olduns to use, and the rats have gone to annoy somebody else. Glad Lizzy is getting a break with your new employee. I remember how busy I was with 3 under 5 and that was with no livestock commitments
A boy Cammy another good video 👍. Congratulations to you & your family on the pregnancy news. Hopefully Jock is feeling better now. Those tups are gonna be busy busy busy 😂😂
I've sometimes gone similar colours if you have multiple rams in a group of ewes. At least you know if one has stopped jumping for any reason. Orange/Red, Green/Blue, Purple/Black.
This upcoming April is going to be my third lambing season with you and as someone who has seen every video since find thing the channel the efforts to plan for better stock is amazing. Here’s to you guy’s effort paying off.

In New Zealand, we run about 120-150 ewes per ram. But my grandfather talks about running 300 ewes to the ram for 2.5 cycles in the 80s when subsidies were removed and money was tight.
Totally naive question here :- would keeping an extra ram to service the 300 add that much more to the total cost of keeping and servicing the flock?
Not really, but across the 2000 ewes he had back then, it would have made a difference, and every dollar counted then.
Yeah I dare say these boys could do more…. My only worry is we didn’t semen test😅
He said when he was running 300 to 1, he just put the ram out and didn't even think about how badly wrong it could go.
Back then, wool was the main income source, lambs were not worth much. I can remember good 5 year ewes selling at $4 each, and fat lambs were only making $12.
