You know what would be awesome! A literal complete beginners routine. I seriously have practically no make up and when people say stuff like "primer" and "bronzer" i don't even know what to look for or where that should be applied. It would be great if somebody made a routine on how to pick this stuff and just basics of how to apply it, so I don't feel so lost.

Not everyone with blue eyes can wear purple shades, though.

From what I've gleaned, burnt colors like orange (I know, orange, but it's true) and golds, warm tones like purples and browns have the best impact on blue eyes. Black eyeliner accentuates every eye color, but look a tad harsh on green and blue. Browns!
I always get black eyeliner on my blue eyes and it looks not harsh :)
I think it also depends on hair/skin color. I'm a fair-skinned redhead, so black liners and mascaras look very harsh on me.
My skin tone doesn't look great with warm tones. I love having bold eyeshadow but I also want to make my eyes pop. Any suggestions?
When I switched from black to brown it totally changed my whole make up game.

Same. Mostly if you have brown hair like I do. Orange/pink/brown makeup and blue/pink shirts are really good for blue eyes.

Try putting a tiny bit on the brush and tapping off the excess. Then when you apply, layer, and layer, and blend, blend, blend. Hope this helps :)
also keep in mind your skin tones ... She's using more reddish browns but I mocha and coffee browns work well too if you're as pale as me. Milani is a great brand if you want to avoid a lot of fallout.
it also can be because of the shape of your eye, same happens with mee with my hooded droopy eyes

I love this look, one of my favorite blue eye tutorials! I have blue eyes too and mostly tutorials just say to use bronze and golds, I like that you did something different!
Some people hate lots of mascara other people love it, I always get compliments on my lashes so the people I'm around me seem to like it, and even if they didn't I would still wear it haha they're my eyes not anyone elses :)

I did this with my blue eyes and it works amazingly. I have brown hair and it just makes my eyes seem brighter than they really are.
The color wheel says it's orange that would compliment your eyes. So anything orange based or yellow tones would work. Oddly my eyes pop with brown as well.
Witty Vixen brown is just orange with black added.

Yes I find bright orange and yellows really make my eyes pop! Orange more so especially when I have some heavy black mascara on.
Go for shades of purple - lavender, plum etc. It will make your eyes look fantastic! You can mix it brown also to achieve a smokey look. :)

I think that these colors look really good together with blue eyes.
I love this look! It's one if my go-to looks. I've found that Maybelline eyeliner in Cinnabar goes well with the Spice shade :]

You have the most beautiful, stunning, majestic blue eyes I have ever seen in my entire existence.
Whenever I apply mascara to my lower lashes they touch my under-eye and make it look like I have really bad bags, how can I prevent this?
put a business card or a piece of paper beneath your lower lashes then apply anything that doesn't go onto the lashes will go onto the card

attackthecanvas I just go for the pile it on, then wipe off the excess because I can never apply mascara without transfer to my skin.. So i just work it on well and cover the lashes (not clumps though), then use the corner of a face wipe or que tip to wipe off the skin underneath :)
The best way to do this, is to use a credit card or a piece of paper and put it underneath your lashes and then apply the mascara and all the excess will be put onto the paper rather than your skin...or you could buy a mascara specifically made for bottom lashes as they have a very tiny brush which makes it more difficult to smudge it onto your skin c: hope this helps :3
wear colors opposite to green on the colour wheel - reds, pinks (usually deeper pinks), plums, and purples :) x
I just want to say thank you for this..I went to a party last night and did my eye makeup like this (I was in a nice dress with red lipstick too) but this look got me my first dance with a boy so thank you a lot

People with blue eyes we don't need Smokey eyes. We don't need eye shadow or eye liner. Just some lip stick and mascara and our blue eyes pop automatically.

+Denise White This is true. I use very little eye shadow on my eyes. My mascara and a little liner usually does the trick I found.
Gold colors look AMAZING with green eyes!
My eyes tend to really pop when I'm tan or am wearing bronzer.
Tangerine and coral would be better because they're closer to orange which is the opposite of blue, reds/pinks have a tendency to make the eyes look tired - here's a direct snippet from one of my bobbi brown workbooks (bobbi herself said this) "pink-toned eyeshadows can bring out the red around your eyes, making you look tired"

Hi, so...I just have discovered your TH-cam channel. I love this video! I have tried and tried to find the Milani eye shadows mentioned, but to no avail. :( I guess I missed out being 2 1/2 yrs too late... You do not happen to know of any dupes of the old Milani colors, do you? Sun Goddess, Desert Sun and Spice....
I would actually try the eyeshadows at H&M. They have a complete set of colors and I own the "sun goddess" eyeshadow from H&M. Even the casing looks the same as in the video.

I think you'd look so pretty with mahogany-ish black-ish hair kinda like megan fox. I used to have chocolate brown hair and blue eyes and it kinda faded out my eyes. I dyed it darker and it helped my eyes stand out so much!

This is such a great video Lauren. I've been following you for a while and you don't know how many times I've looked up "how to make blue eyes pop." They always make it really dark and you actually created a look that I can wear in the day time and I think it pops even more than dark smokey looks. Can't wait to try this! Lauren have you ever looked at brush's from crown brush's? That is who makes the ones for coastal scents, but you vcan buy them directly from crown for a lot less.
This will still look lovely on green eyes! But reds, pinks (usually deeper pinks), plums, and purples will compliment green eyes :)

Get the Too Faced natural eye pallet. It's a bit expensive but sooo worth it. Also recommend the Urban Decay Naked pallet.

I absolutely love this, the only thing I do differently is rather than the black mascara I do the Navy mascara I really like a dark blue mascara I actually find that it emphasizes the blue even more then a black mascara and it's less harsh and looks better and photographs on me
