My eyes are weirdly blue. I don't like alot of my features, but I've always loved my eyes. They're a light powdery blue in bright warm-ish lighting, but on cloudy (but still bright) days, they look almost light grey. I love how they look because they fit my preferred style very well:)
I have blue eyes too and yes warm tones do make my eyes pop. However, it just doesn’t look good on me. Like at all, it looks terrible. I think it’s because my skin is so cool toned but idk. I think the warm tones are so pretty but every time I try to wear them it doesn’t work out so I almost always wear cool tones. Cool tones make my eyes pull more gray which I think looks pretty neat. If you have any suggestions for warmer toned shadows that would look good against cool toned skin I’d love to hear them 😊.
I have the same issue! My skin is too cool toned to pull off warm tones, I end up looking sick. I can get away with a cooler toned bronze but oranges, reds and pinks are a complete no no for me ❤
Same with me. Gold and cool bronze colours are ok, but if they get too warm I look red eyed, like I've not had any sleep. Taupe and mushroom colours look better on me.
Burgundy colors look amazing with Hazel eyes. I have this particular Napoleon eye shadow and every time i wear it, someone comments on my eye color. Even one day when I went into Mecca (an Australian version of Sephora) one of the girls commented on my eyes and then asked what eye shadow I had on.

I would most definitely watch this series. My eyes are the color of the Atlantic Ocean: mostly grey leaning blue with hints of green. Show me all the ways to pop my eyes!
The thing I don't understand is that people with blue eyes are often cool toned. So they should wear cool toned looks no? But everybody says you should use warm toned shadows.
UPDATE: I LIKE those colors BUT for my blue contacts, the only color that really looks good is a smoky plum color, placed deep in the crease, then lightly feathered upward with a faint plum coming out of the socket crease.

Every MUA I’ve had do my makeup, and there have been a lot of them, tries to use these warm colors to enhance my blue eyes. Every time, I warn them that they aren’t going to like how it looks, but they persist. And every time, they end up removing it and going with something cool-taupes, grays, cool browns, even blues and purples. The startling thing is that my eye color changes depending on what colors are used. I had a lot of remarks about it when I was younger. Naturally, they are gray-blue with a touch of a green cast. Depending on the makeup and clothing, they can look anything from cadet blue to smoky turquoise to violet to gray.

I so badly want this to work for me but with hooded eyes I know I will only get satisfaction for the first few minutes of wearing it before it smudges and becomes muddy. I'm also at the point of just investing in waterproof mascara so it quits running into the creases under my eyes XD Thank you so much for this video! I know this is an old vid, but I'm a 40 year old that doesn't wear make up, apart from odd nights out, so when xmas parties roll around, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and the department stores overwhelm me with all the counters. This was helpful. I have blue eyes but my skin is incredibly fair, cool toned and pink. Like SUPER pink. So while the bronzey- orange warm tones make my eyes look great, its hard to balance with my skin tone and my natural lip tones and with what shades look good on my lips. HELP!

Omg that shimmer! I guess I need to save up... or something 🤔 Bit also, how do you get your mascara brush to not have all that gunk on the very end? I try to use the tip to get those smaller lashes, but there's clumpy things on the mascara...
Another tip is if you have wispy wimpy eyelashes, use a brown on your lashes first and then the black as that makes them look thicker and then the black makes them longer
If I have pink/cool undertones in my skin, can I do a really warm eye look? It seems if my eyes are warm, the rest of my makeup wold need to be do. And I'd look dead.
Could you do this for gray eyes? I think of grey as kind of a neutral but would love to know how to make them really pop, especially as I have hooded eyes

Brown is a mixure of all colors so in theory it is like in the center of the wheel, which means all colors should suit you .. but I know in make up they say some specific colors for each color as well as for brown, I am green eyed so I don’t remember colors for brown ;)

Let's reflect on the fact that makeup geek is sold out of their singles almost every time I browse their site. Ok ok I come to their site when I learn about a sale...but still. There are so many shades in other brands that you can totally dupe this look with.

I have bright blue eyes but oranges and coppers look horrendous on me. Mauves are what makes my eyes pop the most.

My eyes change colors depending on weather and mood. They go from blue/ green but i tend to love purples and reds.... But use lots of colors etc. :)
