    Как жаль, что под русскую музыку так редко катаются наши фигуристы, это лучшее, что я видела у Крыловой и Овсяннекова. Молодцы.

      При чем здесь святость? при чем здесь любовь? у них русский народный танец и костюмы соответствующие. Вы не в церкви, не городите свое религиозное мракобесие, надоели вы со своей дуростью

    Какой артистизм! Какая слаженность катания! Какая скорость! Какой наполненный смыслом танец! Великолепно!
    Современные танцоры увлеклись трюкачеством и сложными элементами. На второй план ушли артистизм, философия, идея, музыкальная наполненность и прочие немаловажные элементы! Современные танцоры должны почерпнуть от них их достижения в катании!
    Особенно нужно на это обратить внимание судей. От судей зависит будут ли фигуристы концентрировать своё внимание на эти элементы или это уйдёт из профессионального катания в шоу программы!

      What is effective of the tremendous speed, unison, and the interpretation of the music...EVEN the audience recognized it with the clapping...Get a clue honey.

      @MsRumex ปีที่แล้ว

      @sunshinesun101 lol). The audience may like music, but it is not music competition.
      Sure, they do get points for music interpretation, but nevertheless, this interpretation has to be done utilizing complicated handholds (if the team wants to win) . Otherwise, it is just a good entertaining routine but not a competitive one.

    @Gaeilgeoir That's because the Continents Cup took place in the Fall of 1996. So, when Tracy Wilson referred to last year's Free Dance, she meant last season's Free Dance, which was this dance. Worlds was in Spring of 1996.

  • @3Axel1996
    @3Axel1996  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @Gaeilgeoir 1995 was in Birmingham, England. This was Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

  • @Gaeilgeoir
    @Gaeilgeoir 12 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Do you also happen to have the Philadelphia competition that the commentator talked about at 3:46 recorded?

  • @Gaeilgeoir
    @Gaeilgeoir 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @3Axel1996 But in your video 'Krylova & Ovsiannikov (RUS) - 1996 Continents Cup, Ice Dancing, Free Dance', that was in the same place, in 1996; at 1:10, the female commentator in that video states their performance (at Continents Cup) was much more dramatic than last year's performance which was very "doll-like and light"; I'm sure she was describing the above performance, but it would've been the 1995...help me understand here. :)

  • @Gaeilgeoir

    This was 1995...

  • @Gaeilgeoir
    @Gaeilgeoir 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @3Axel1996 Oy, that's confusing...She would've been better off saying "last season's Free Dance instead of 'last year's"...thanks :)

    This is a charming free dance that was skated with good phrasing and finesse. But the content is very underwhelming for me. I actually might've placed Anissina & Peizerat ahead of this. Even though A&P still had a ways to go in terms of their technical abilities at that time, their free dance was more well balanced in terms of content than either B&K's or this one.

    • @belindatyrrell4604
      @belindatyrrell4604 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Their original dance that year was studying and though this was charming it’s was more like a gala programme it didn’t do them justice. I suspect they were trying to show they can range

    • @gk891
      @gk891 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@belindatyrrell4604 Maybe. But if you look at their other free dances, they were all very underwhelming in terms of content with tons of hand to hand and side by side skating. And whenever they were in more difficult handholds (waltz or foxtrot) their upper bodies were often very stiff and tense. I think it's because he engulfs her hand instead of actually holding it.

      @@gk891 The judges never even considered A&P a competitor for K&O this season. Nor did the competitors. Commentators mentioned battles between K&O vs B&K and B&K vs A&P, but never A&P vs K&O.

    • @gk891
      @gk891 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@travisstrong5389 Which is a shame because looking back, it's almost shocking to me how superior A&P are to K&O. I thought A&P should've won the free dance here. And possibly the gold overall even though G&P were way ahead in the compulsories.

    • @travisstrong5389
      @travisstrong5389 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gk891 The crazy thing is if A&P had finished over K&O at the 95 worlds, where they had some ordinals above them in all programs but the free dance, they probably never drop behind them again. That is the protocaled nature of ice dance.
