World Lindy Hop Day! | Swing Dance | Frankie Manning "Lindy Chorus"

Let's Swing Out!
May 26th is World Lindy Hop Day, in honor of one of the OG greats within the dance, Frankie Manning. Here we are demonstrating his choreography, the Lindy Chorus.
Frankie Manning was also born on this date back in 1914. He was one of the original Savoy Ballroom dancers back in the 1930s, during Lindy Hop's come-up. He was known as being the first dancer to "invent" an air step or aerial and incorporate them within the dance!
You could say Frankie was our first teacher via TH-cam with the great Erin Stevens. Unfortunately we did not get to meet him in person, but we can always feel his love through this dance. Thank you for everything, Frankie!
