Today, I am playing Geometry Dash. My goal for today's video is to beat an extreme demon, but the problem is I am a beginner, so with enough time, can a beginner beat an extreme demon? This will be a series (probably).

Honestly I don't know how people could ever want to beat a platformer extreme demon as their first extreme, I don't even count platformer extreme levels as extreme difficulty since you can straight up just brute force them, you don't actually have to be that good of a player, you just gotta brute force it until you get past all the levels.
Personally it just doesn't hit the same as beating a normal hard level, the intensity of having too beat a level in one go just hits different. Maybe it's just me, but the first time I beat a demon which was 2 years ago, I almost stopped breathing and my heartrate was def above 140+ Like the rush of beating hard levels just hits so hard, and it feels SO REWARDING, even though the only thing you get is a small stat increase.
Understandable. The reason IM doing it is because it's still considered an extreme demon. It would also be my first LEVEL ever beaten so trying to beat a regular one would take way longer and be way less interesting because progress would be so slow.
I can't beat extreme demons no matter if it's platform or normal. But i would rather play a normal ex demon then spent hours for a platformer.

@@rolf_dk the amount of time you would take to beat a normal extreme demon would take much longer than a plat former. It shows because if polter went for a normal extreme it would take much longer

As a victor of this level, I can say that you are in for one HELL of an experience. I would say that I am mildly good at the game, and it STILL took me 11 HOURS. Keep in mind this was well before the checkpoint save thing, so I just left my pc open the whole time in order to not lose anything.
The end of this level gets DRASTICALLY harder than anything in the beginning, so I wish you good luck.
I was gonna say that How to Platformer would have been better, but then I remembered that that isn't an extreme anymore, so Fo500 would be the next best thing.

just an FYI platformer extreme demons are SIFNIFICANTLY easier than classic extreme demons, and unfortunately because saving isn't implemented yet you're making this easier/faster/more possible for yourself
@inurwallsgd how long have you been playing classic gd for, and how many other classic extreme demons have you beaten
@inurwallsgd also I just checked and that level is #169, it's very hard to believe your claim of beating it in a day
@inurwallsgd that's the thing, you've been playing classic gd for years now, it takes a lot of playtime on the game in general to get to a state where you can beat levels of high difficulty in as little time as a newer player could beat platformer demons. The truth is, both modes don't really compare, beating a checkpoint based platformer level not the same experience as a classic level and they are fundamentally different and shouldn't have the same difficulty rating system, however, they do, and people who don't know any better would think they work the same way in terms of progression and such, which they really don't.

@@neuronextractor Yeah, I agree. Quite literally they are fundamentally different. You can literally have never touched the game before but say you beat an extreme demon cuz of platformer mode lol. I am good at platformers and this level still took me 5+ hours. All the time I played I was thinking that I would NOT recommend this to a beginner. And a few days later I see this video. But I still really hope you will finish this level, GL! :)

if you quit it - try storm front. It's pure muscle memory and pretty much anyone can beat this level with some practice. Fury of 500 has some significant difficulty jumps on the last 20 levels(especially room 500) and in general becomes a horrible experience after room 300. Here's my time spent on the level for better difficulty representation: 1-100:~15 min, 101-200:~25min, 201-300:~45 min, 301-400: ~1:30h, 401-499:~2:30h, 500:2h
yeah the last 100 rooms are miserable but room 500 is not that bad is just the stress (in pratice in a copy of the level I beat it in 10 minutes, on the original like 1h)
room 500 is that bad it took me 3 hours
Platformer extreme demons aren’t really extreme demons but it’s still impressive.

Unfortunately gotta agree, I don't think anyone has ever did an extreme (from never played the game to beating it) in less than like a month or two, let alone a couple hours

platformer saves make this literally free, it should be hard demon max if it were to be ranked by hardest room. this shit took 10 hours of my life and my mental health and dehydrated my body 🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥
Still it takes the amount of hours in your life to beat it. Classic levels you don’t have to worry unless they are insanely long but platformers can be as long as they want and they can take so many hours.

This is the reason i hate checkpoints in platformer mode. People can just bruteforce through levels instead of doing stuff thats difficult like actual extremes. Ofc checkpoint spam isnt in every level but still

Platformer saves defeats the whole purpose of this level which is that it's supposed to take a long time but using platformer saves you can stretch that time across a week or maybe even a month. It the same as playing an xl level but leaving because you feel tired and then getting to come back to where you left off. Fury of 500 is definitely an extreme demon but with this mod, it might not even be considered an insane demon. Also it's a platformer so its not really an extreme demon

When you finish this level or give up, and after you take a break, could you beat a classic level? They dont have checkpoints so it could be way harder. But i think most of us would be fine if you beat any demon. Some fun demons may include ispywithmylittleeye, ultra violence, and change of scene. Good luck from now on.
Also if you finish this challenge, could you continue a geometry dash series?

dont let anyone discourage you by saying platformer extremes are easier, the level is still most definitely very hard so being able to do it as a beginner is good
platformer extremes cant really count as extremes so you should beat a classic extreme if you wanna beat an extreme (also platformer saving is cheating since its a mod, robtop should add it tho)
Chose platformer because I believe it would be far more interesting. I do possibly plan on trying to beat the HARDEST normal level in practice mode which should probably take like 10 hours for me

True the difficulty is not comparable, but it makes for a more enjoyable video rather than watching me get 0.001% in a level 10,000 times. At least you can watch me make SOME sizeable amount of progress

I think easiest extreme demon platformer is how to platformer. First levels are easily completed, others are for average players in gd.

i used checkpoint save mod so i could sleep on how to platformer and my former friend thinks i completely cheated the whole level and technically didnt beat the level even though i never left the level after

It took me 63 tries to get the star to unlock
Edit: I was able do each try in about 2-3 seconds once I got in the groove so took about 10 mins of playtime. I was at work so took me a solid 2 hours of time to pass that one room

Fun fact: on 192 you had to use the very advanced jumping method called "HOLDING" to completely avoid those very epik orbs, you can also do "holding" right after hitting the orb to avoid the next sets of super neat orbs
