- This video has brought tears to my eyes every single time I’ve watched it. Champ was originally supposed to be deployed for 6 months but due to COVID-19, it was extended and extra 2 months. 2 long, agonizing, and seemingly unending months. I have been in communication with Jamie since February and was able to get the smallest glimpse into a military family life.
Working on this video has given me a MUCH greater appreciation for those who serve our country. Thank you to the military personnel, as well as spouses and children who sacrifice so much. I am eternally grateful for all you do; the long flights across the world, the lonely nights without your loved one, the pain, the unknown, everything. I know there are a million other things that go unnoticed, but I personally want to say thank you.

Best video like all homecoming but what makes this special is the kids. You have to be there for this feeling of homecoming watching the planes line up, and land after months of no man's land. Thank you all for serving and the families behind the men and women who serve. This email is from a retired soldier from Canada who knows a lot about homecoming.
I hope everyone appreciates the sacrafices made by just not the airman or sailor or ground trouper but of the entire family. It is imperative that this nation take care of these families when needed and always appreciate them.
