Y’all really need to read the description, these were the top 35 most searched for film cameras according to google in 2019. They didn’t pick or chose anything on this list, they just listed the results that google gave them.
The description has nothing to do with a worthy source repeating a flawed survey. We don't have to always publish surveys that seem odd or illogical and give them legitimacy. When we do, we are just as guilty in spreading it.
I used to think the same. Then one day, I just decided what the heck so jumped and bought one. It was the best decision I made in a while. No regret. Never looked back either. If you want, just do it.
A lot of people say they can't afford a Leica but will happily splash out $1000 on a phone or $4k on a Sony mirrorless. It just depends on your priorities! The fact is you probably can afford a Leica. Look at the Barnacks, like the iiif for example. I picked one up for $200 in an auction in really good condition. It is a thing of beauty. I also bought an MDa for half the price they normally go for on eBay and did eventually splash out on an M3, but even those can be had for under $1000 if you know where to look.
What a wonderful video!!! I have owned several of the pictured cameras over the years and enjoyed seeing many others that I could not afford to own. This was a great presentation,. Thank You!!!

I can understand that there are no Leica or Praktika, Exakta, Konica, Mamiya, Ricoh, Topcon or Miranda 35mm SLRs, but no Minolta? Minolta was, after Nikon and Canon, the number three in the camera world for decades. Agreed. The F4 was ground breaking. At least Nikon produced a AF 35mm SLR that supported backwards comparability with their historic range of F mount lenses. Cannon on the other hand walked away from their legacy glass, and forced EOS users to acquire AF specific glass.
So many great film cameras to choose from! If I had to pick just one to actually use today from time to time as the film counterpart to my Nikon DSLR (and which uses interchangeable vintage F-mount lenses), I would pick my Nikon F3HP.

You forgot the Olympus OM4. I still have one and a batch of lenses. In the 1980 one of the Camera magazines took the top models from the major brands and subjected them to a series of tests. Speaking as someone who bought a new Canon AE-1 back in 1977 I'm always surprised to see that it is so popular today. It's not a bad camera, but it's not really a great camera. I do still have mine though.
A-1 has too much electronics, which don't age well. Most used "untested" A-1 bodies on the market are faulty. Most AE-1 are working. I've sold hundreds of those cameras. A-1 is more advanced but is prone to issues with the meter, shutter, slow speeds etc. that's why they sell so cheap. AE-1 occasionally has a problems with shutter release electromagnet, rarely with light meter. It's a solid camera. AE-1 Program is even better IMO
The yashica t3 was in most searched on google but the t4/t5 isn’t ?- yet people regard it one of the good 35 film cameras ?, where can I find the list ?
Good video. I dont know where this TOP 35 list comes from. I wont agree with this list at all. Anyway, it's not important. Since this video has to do with sounds, it's worth playing the shutter sound of Konica Hexar AF, particularly in silent mode. I thought people was boasting it but when I had the camera in hand, I really didn't notice I had pressed the shutter before I checked the film counter. Pentax ME super is a good camera, cheap and abundant but probably not as classic as LX and MX. Like OM-1, Pentax MX has air damper which reduce vibration. The winding of the FM2 does feel great. G2 sound is actually quite crisp but winding motor is noisy.
