Thanks for answering my question. Your approach of not rushing the process and sticking to your training plan for Chicago makes sense. FWIW it wasn't until my 14th marathon earlier this year that I finally ran a BQ and will be running the 2025 Boston Marathon.
Of course! And hey, I'm in it for the long game so no matter how long it takes I know I'll get there soon! Have an incredible time at Boston 2025 Marathon!!
Have you ever considered the Metaspeed Sky / Edge Paris from Asics? It's a much lighter race day shoe than the Adios Pro 3. But if you do get your hands on the Pro Evo, I guess that question will be all moot. But, regardless what you'll be slipping on come Chicago, I'll be rooting for you! Cheers!
I actually have the Metaspeed Edge, so not the Paris version but I have tested them out when I was in Glasgow for World Indoor Champs with ASICS! I do like them but have never worn them in a long distance / marathon setting!
Agree! Raced multiple marathons in sky and sky paris, went from 3:27 to 2:58. So so light and feel speedy! But everyone’s foot/feel is different, definitely do what works for you 🤍 good luck in Chicago!!!
@@resiliencyinrunning pls do a video if you get inspiration as I would like to hear your thoughts… also if you are doing a meet up in Chicago let us know!!!
@@henryto2176sure might just do one in future!! But yes I am, Saturday the day before with my friend Katherine! Details are on my Instagram, @resiliencyinrunning 😄

@@catherinetreseler9450I’ve always been tempted to race in them!! But thank you 🥹
You said the adios pro 4 has been released, but when I look on the website and on the app it says releases Thursday 2nd of January
Yes, they did a very limited release ahead of Berlin Marathon - but I might just get my hands on them in about a month or so!
If you were offered a Boston Bib as an influencer and you didn’t get a BQ, would you take it?
Haha a very controversial topic that got some people upset a few months ago - tempted to do a video on this but short answer is no 😅
