Great analysis, and I appreciate your sense of humor when dealing with these crazy times.

The GOP may be appealing to ordinary people. Ordinary people, a lot of them, may be nuts.

good point, Matt -- I too remembered the GHW Bush won, in spite of the "I knew Jack Kennedy " put down, but it finished Dan Quayle as a political force. If we could stop JD Vance in his tracks that's not nothing.

Matt, The Dumb Dumb sequence was hysterical. I haven't stopped laughing but I was a giant Flintstones fan. I'm surprised you remember that.

I don't understand why many in the republican party have become so cynical and nihilistic.

Rosanne definitely wasn't wholesome. It was like one of those shows everyone watched because it was the opposite of reality, in the same vein as Married With Children. The difference was that all the characters on Married with Children were lovable.

This woman seems mentally ill, IMO. Tucker is exploiting her.

Yes, the dancing backward in high heels point is a great one. He's judged on a very unfair curve that is uniquely saved for his lunacy alone.

Does Tucker have any conscience left at all?

It's not just the Left that MAGA nuts have turned from, it's the old Reagan GOP we were in, Matt.

Tucker is a ridiculous clown for not demanding that Roseanne provide SOURCES for idiotic slander. Keep asking her until she provides evidence for her claims, even if he has to repeat the question 50 times. It would be great entertainment too, just to break her brain on a national broadcast.
    What happened to real journalism?

These people are really so crazy. What are they trying to do?! It makes for an
    entertaining segment, but these idiots
are so close to the levers of power, and
they are very well funded. Sickening!!!

I do think that Trump has an imbedded notion that any attention he can suck away and focus on himself is good, but I don't necessarily think that works for him anymore for multiple reasons: 1. It reminds voters (who have forgotten) how much they dislike him, and why they voted him out the last time. 2. In the debate we saw that he talked for more time than Harris, and she seemed happy to let him rant, which ultimately helped her win that debate, and 3. The more attention he gets, the more he seems like the incumbent, and she is the hot new thing that is more interesting, and people are looking for information about her. I could be wrong, but I think that is a part of the Harris campaign strategy, and it seems like the Trump campaign apparatus is not pleased with him getting negative attention, but of course no one can advise or control him, so he just does it anyway. All she has to do is get out there and look young, and competent and a reasonable alternative to his crazy, and that may be enough to put some of those college educated voters who may normally vote Republican, to pick her instead. And maybe they hope this will be the end of him if they do, and then normal conservatism may be able to be resurrected after.

The Roseanne interview is yet another example of how if Tucker is ever a legit contender for President then it is a clear sign the USA is totally screwed. Tucker is just a bowtie-wearing version of Joe Rogan with all his 'just asking questions' routine.
