Of course if one is not married, one is single. No matter if "in a relationship" or not. There is no "cheating" if one is not married. Let's quickly break it down.
From a legal standpoint, that is true. There is no status of "girlfriend/boyfriend" when stating status ...it's is either married or single. If one is not married, he/ she is single. Now because of this shameless, "baby mama" and 'baby daddy" / premarital sex/ playing house epidemic, some courts sometimes try to acknowledge such relationships, however, it can be very complicated, as one can see.
In terms of religiously/spiritually, if one is not married, one is single. "Boyfriend/girlfriend" statuses are just childish labels people give each other to justify the enforcement of a commitment that can easily be taken away with a simple "breakup"...there are no real consequences, incentives, or true divine recognition....
The problem is deep down most women would like to be married (as they should) to the man they are "in a relationship" with...unless they are looking for a better man. Most are desperately waiting/begging for the man to finally "give them a name" by marrying them. Being a girlfriend is like trying to demonstrate/ prove how worthy one is for marriage. With marriage there is much responsibility and accountability...things a man who is not serious does not want. There is no real incentive for a man to marry a woman who is voluntarily giving him all the perks and commitment of having a wife without being one. Marriage is a very type of relationship that is significant in legal rights, spiritual bond and recognition, etc...it is a great thing that support women's rights, contrary to what some "feminists" may say. Marriage provides legal protection and respect in communities. The power is in women's hands. If a women is mutual interested in a guy, both parties should find respectable ways to meet and get to know each other (without sexual contact). If there is compatibility, marriage should take place.
Of course, people are free to do whatever it is they want to do. It is their right. Just like it is my right and freedom to make a comment...even if it is not favored.

I'm the first bloke to blast an unjustly "controlling" person of any gender, but everything about Mr. Franklin revealed in this episode of Divorce Court indicates that outside of Miss Brewer's "control", Mr. Franklin - and his little baby! - would be in terribly dire straits. He's acting like a douchebag guy in his 20s (I'm 28 and I have a few mates that are also like that). He needs to smarten t.f.u. because he made a baby with Miss Brewer. She even speaks more sensibly than he does!
Therefore, I cannot disagree with her: if Mr. Franklin does what he is supposed to, then Miss Brewer would not need to be so controlling.

I don’t understand why women feel they deserve a Valentine’s Day gift and celebration. Why is that one day so important? We put way too much stock and image into these made up holidays as if they actually reflect something about the relationship.
When I was pregnant with my daughter, my grandparents were told by someone we were having a boy bc the stroller system I picked out was navy blue, so they bought all boy clothes for my shower. It broke my heart to tell my grandmother I was having a girl. They were cool about it but my grandfather said they would exchange all the cothes EXCEPT any NY Yankee outfits lol. You KNOW BEFORE coming onto this show that judge Toler will ask you to do a profession of love. 7 out of 10 couples can’t do it without saying but, if he/she would just. The judge even tells them nothing bad, no bits no what if’s and it’s usually the third word out of their mouth.

Its like some females like situations with men that don't treat them as well as they should be treated and bash every man on earth for it. We're not all perfect and we do have our downfalls, but we're not all the same.
