A tip for ibara I found out a while back is you can counter strike Todoroki’s ice wall with purification as it’ll go over Todoroki’s ice and has a good chance at hitting him,Also being an ibara main you have to time when you can hit another opponent again after you knock them down and obviously ibara can pierce kendo’s and mirio’s shield with her purification
Also pointing out the obvious she is a precision character making playing someone with more rapid fire hard but it can help with aim and how well you can control your trigger finger

I think youre right about why they arent picked as often. Cuz while they arent bad characters at all, theres just so many characters who can do what they do but easier. i play shiozaki faithfully still 💅🏾 amazing showcase of her as per usual i've also started maxing beta than alpha and i've been loving it because they will never fix her alpha from what i can tell her alpha ain't been same since we got the new map !!

It's great seeing you show off the lesser-used characters! I still find Ibara to be one of the most annoying characters to fight. I tend to prefer classic "scarier" enemies over her just because if she gets high level, she is so hard to get to to actually hit.
@@CharismaticDemon_ i suggest checking out some of the guides from MetsuRjKen. like for instance- jumps where you can barely get enough height to get on / over something, you can air melee to get extra height. examples of this would be getting over Shoto's ice wall and jumping onto the buses around the U.A island map, just to name a few.
always level up ibara gamma after alpha guranteed 200+ dmg hp off a grab can two shot everyone in the game and also it has no cooldown if you miss her gamma is extremely underrated and if you press gamma again while grabbing it does the full dmg instantly

ibara and kendo are honestly my favorites alongside tech dabi and aizawa. i consistently reach ace with them but with that being said they NEED to fix my girl ibara desperately 😭 she’s like the most bugged character in the game rn imo and it SUCKS when you alpha someone and it does the animation, takes a charge off but doesn’t actually shoot out any vines, the infamous alpha delay bug and the plethora of bugs that come with her gamma (cough cough grab not actually grabbing people but just gives a hit reaction, grab dealing NO damage, or my favorite one when someone can just dodge out of it even tho they clearly get hit by the grab) there’s also the bug with her beta where if your gamma bugs via only doing a hit reaction but not actually grabbing them, if you try to beta after that it sometimes just won’t do damage It’s rough out here

Yeah mirios charged alpha beats the shield while his uncharged loses to it. Most will just charge it up tho so it’s best to forgo using shield in that match up

The other day I played a match against a Kendo and I couldn't kill her the whole match... she had a very good team too.

Alpha - jab while moving forward - gamma. As long as your moving after the alpha the jab can come out sooner
