Dave wasn't the first though to mix passionate female vocal with icy electronics , Belgian band Jo Lemaire did it before him with the cover of " je suis venue te dire"
I love Dave, who is something of a genius. And I still on occasion love la Lennox, despite the fact that in her misguided old age she is an unwitting lackey for the international criminal pharmaceutical cartel.
He does, he just didn't in the tourists because he played the guitar instead and Annie did. In Eurythmics depending on the song or live set up he did both.
According to an interview of Eurythmics in "Rolling Stone" magazine in 1983, Dave Stewart discussed his history of drug abuse, including taking LSD. In the interview, he stated that he still had "bad feelings" from taking the drug. He also was in a very bad automobile accident in the early-1970s, and has had to take a lot of prescription drugs to keep himself alive, and perhaps still does to this day.
this man is extreme intelligent, Prophetic even
Thank you for posting. Enjoyed hearing how Eurythmics music came about. Dave seems unassuming and affable.
Best music ever made. My hair still stand up on my arms when listening.
dave.you are a legend
f... yeh!!!👍👍
I read his book and it provides insight into his life!👍
he would be a GREAT judge on Idol or especially on the VOICE
There is a glaring error in the title of this video. The band name is simply "Eurythmics". There is no "The" in it.
Underrated guitarist
I think The Tourists are underrated.
you rule David!!!👍👍💕🇳🇴😘
THX 4 info.
Genius Sweet dreams was ironic phrase😊☺🙆
When he say he'd been into Viperon Well? and Salvador dali, who does he mean by Viperon Well.. thats what it sounds like buy I can't pick it?

Loathe this dude with a passion. "Absurd"sums him about up,yeah...
Then it shows how you're very narrowminded!
@@cooper7031 Agree that Stewart was highly talented once . Which doesn't prohibit one from loathing.
Love The Tourists though.
@@PAULLONDEN ya have not read his book then!
It's amazing how people interpret intelligence ... I guess doing drugs to your mind was fried is really intelligent .
