Erik auditioned with this song for Swedish Idol back in 2009 with an acoustic guitar and the jury was blown away. He won Swedish Idol that year. He re-recorded this song during his recovery from leukemia cancer in 2021, that's why he has no hair on these videos. About a year after he was pronounced free from cancer, he was approached by Skid Row and now he is the current singer in his teen idol band.

I will also let you know that, when Erik recording this song, his still was recovering from bone transplant for a few months earlier. That because he got lymphoma leukemia 2021 and he had to evidently get to the hospital and get the transplant. So it’s because he hasn’t so much hair on this video. 6 months after that, he stood with “Skid Row” on stage in USA. Not strong, but he did it and he is an absolute amazing fighter and his spirit is pure gold and happiness.❤️🔥🎶❤️🔥🤘🏼❤️🔥🎶 I’m going to put some link to others songs/covers his done. (Sorry if I have spelling or writing mistakes. But I have lots of pain into my body and are very tired.) The o with umlaut is pronounced as a quick "oe". As explained by a German friend with one in his name. Sometimes when printed out, you see it as oe. So Groenwall. But don't dwell on the e part. It's more like a diphthong.

Actually, he said he was offered the Skid Row gig about 6 months after his bone marrow transplant. And he had leukemia
