I was stalked coming from work let me tell you i strongly believe the lady who saved me was an angel because she came out of nowhere and scared the man off. Kay girl hearing your story gave me chills, to this day i cant even work late night no more . Preach was doing way too much and trying to learn your schedule and snatching your flash cards.
I’m glad you stuck up for yourself, he picked the wrong one! A lot of these creepy men depend on the fact that women don’t wanna act out of character and want to be friendly so they take advantage of that.
Dudes be creepy for no reason. If a woman says she’s not interested, she just not interested. Take that L and go about your business.
I used to tell my college roomate all the time she knew everybody and she needed to stop talking to strangers lol. One time she met this guy in the laundry room and he tried to tell her about this pseudo religion and all his conspiricy therories. Then he ran into her on campus and said he had a dream about her and wanted to talk without her phone around. Then somehow he found our room and the other roomate who wasnt warned about him opened the door. He tried to "bless her " with a forhead touch because he believed he was "as handsom as Jesus". Needless to say we made a report. Cause once they know where you live they could be lurking around any corner.
Dont let people lure you in with religion that is major on college campuses.

This kind of reminds me of the time I was in college, there was a group of girls, I think a trio, goin around talkin to other girls about religion. Convincing them to go to their religious group. It turns out they were going around to different college's in the area, trying to lure girls into a sex traffic ring. 🥴

I had a "disabled" guy that kept coming to my job and asking for hugs. At first I was being nice and giving him a lil hug but over time this man started interrupting people in line and walking in handing me flowers he picked from outside the store and one day I just had it and was like sir stop coming in here trying to hug me. I was pregnant too so I was like naw I'm being too nice this man is invading my personal space and using my kindness for weakness. He never came back in the store and after I said what I said he just turned away and walked out so he understood what was going on. And the worst part about it, the girls I worked at the register with gone say "he do that to all the new pretty girls" and I was like wtf so y'all was just gone let it keep happening??

I had a guy with tourettes come to my job. I worked at a smoothie shop. First i was nice to him. Made small talk but then it got weird and he would wait for me to make his smoothie. It was so fckn weird. Hes start talking then hed get stuck saying something like a broken record and I'd be there like waiting till it's over. Omg it was so uncomfortable!!! Hed say shit like you you you you you you look loo loo look sexy ....and ask me what I'm doing after work. The fact that he had tourettes made the uncomfortable situation even longer. Cuz I'd be standing there waiting for him to finish whatever pervy shit he was trying to say to me. And I was 17!!! He was prob like 30! And my adult coworkers didn't even try to fckn help me get away from the situation. They would just laugh.

Glad you spoke up & got him out of your face b/c there was clearly way more going on behind the scenes then you may have realized. He couldn't have guessed that you'd randomly work an overnight shift & who's selling fresh flowers at midnight? That would've taken planning & strategy on his part.

It's crazy to me when people don't catch a hint. I'm very nonconfrontational so it's the fact that he could tell you were actively trying to avoid him and then he decided well let me sneak up on her this way. That's WEIRD TO ME! Doing the most. If you see that I'm not trying to get to know you like that then leave me alone. There are no mixed signals. It's straight up every time you come around I'm not trying to talk so why do you not get that. Then if I tell you that I might DIE so what do I do?!

College is definitely a wild place. I had so many experiences myself and it's crazy how some universities don't protect their students. We walked in groups everywhere and if we couldn't we would call a shuttle bus that would run for students who got around late. & when that was closed.. trust I'm carrying SOMETHING on me

This is why I usually come off as rude when men like Preach come around and try to start conversation! Nowadays, we truly do not know how far these Human traffickers will go to snatch young girls! What Preach was attempting to do to you was groom you into getting comfortable with him. Men like these are the scariest! I’m so happy that you were able to catch onto that red flag immediately and thank you for being brave enough to share your story, it will truly help our young sisters out there on their way to their first year of college❤

I hate that you had to go through this. When I was younger in this situation, I would laugh and smile at the guy and tell him “You remind me SO MUCH of my grandpa!”
My advise from experience.. GET A GROUP OF FRIENDS & y’all move as one. Don’t go anywhere by yourself bc the predators be lurking & most times it’s hard to distinguish them! My freshman & sophomore year I had a great group of friends then I transferred schools & got more focused bc my coursework got harder… So at my new school I was ALWAYS alone! Met a guy on campus & gave him my number & he literally stalked me around campus. I blocked his number & he showed up at my house! Mind you, I didn’t live on campus & he had never been to my place EVER! Ladies beware even the cute ones can be weirdos
I am so into this story and it really creeps me out that something was so off with that guy that he kept trying to follow you and talk to you. He became obsessed! "looking for his girlfriend"..... 😳 Thank God you're safe and out of that nonsense.

This reminds me of my college experience… my professor was creepy. At the end of class he pulled me to the side and asked for my number so that he can text if class was cancelled and to add to a student GC etc… I started the semester late so he told me that he already had everyone else’s numbers so I believed him and gave it to him…. Worse decision because that man added me on Snapchat and started commenting creepy shit on my posts that would make me uncomfortable. Also he started to text my phone asking me to take me out. Mind you we were only like 3 weeks in to the semester so I had to deal with seeing him. I did block him though of course but it was very awkward. Luckily I only had him 2 times a week. BE CAREFUL LADIES.

Thanks for sharing this experience. Sometimes ignoring or being rude to the weirdo makes them act out in aggression. You just don't know what kind of weirdo you're getting. All you can do is trust your gut on the vibe you're getting.
Again... 🗣 CONCEAL CARRY. Go get training. Real training, not your man who got a Glock and don't really know shit. Be consistent with it. Don't carry your Firearm, knives, spray in a bag. That's a delay. Keep it ON you. Get on Amazon and get a tactical belt to keep your shit secure. Practice drawing from that. Practice unleashing that knife correctly.
When you go to school or work orientation and they tell you that even pepper spray is not permitted bc it's a weapon, remember YOU are in charge of your safety first. I'd rather be fired or fined than hurt or dead.
You don't have to be fearful, just ready for whatever wherever. This is just the world we live in.
Research your resources, join local clubs, and stay safe ladies.

Omg this happens too often to women and young girls it’s sad same thing happened to me at my work place this man would constantly ask me am I married or do I have a boyfriend I would constantly tell him yes because I did! I never told any family or my boyfriend 🤦🏽♀️ I thought I could handle it on my own he would follow me around work he would watch me from different areas it was so scary I finally snapped one day told my manger and he was banned

Girl my stalker followed me home from work once. I pull up into my parking space hop and I see him double parked talking about “this where you live” 😩 I was like sir did you follow me? I told my male coworker the next day… like this ninja followed me home. He reported his behind to HR. Come to find out he had a wife and kids while trying to pursue me 🤬

I have a neighbor below me who was a total pain in the ACE!! I finally told him to leave me alone or else I'd call the police on him and luckily he quickly backed off. I was like "Dang I waited over a year to tell him that?" But these guys are aggressive and persistent and it's hard to be straight up mean and cold but usually you have to be that way otherwise they will see how far they can go with you - until you just SNAP!!! AYO. I graduated in 2020 and also worked on my university's campus. I worked as a student desk attendant my last two years or my undergrad and something VERY similar happened to me. The job was essentially a student receptionist and I was able to work in all of the residence halls/student apartment complexes on campus. There was this guy who was in his first or second year of graduate school and he was living in the student apartment. Ironically the same one I lived in. During the time he was 23 or so.
My schedule was also based around my classes so I'd work anywhere from noon to the evening, 8 pm to midnight OR 4 am, midnight to 4 am OR 8 am....
During the day time there were people in and out of the building but during those overnight shifts....I made SURE to be on he lookout and every time I'd hear someone use their access card to enter the building I'd get up.
At first he seemed nice (but socially awkward) but he'd ALWAYS try to have a conversation with me and then he started making somewhat uncomfortable comments about his dating life and he complimented me a few times. He was a TA and would always get back to the complex at around 1:30. It got to the point where I would take my name tag down and go his in the back offices where apartment supply, my bosses office was, and where we had a mini camera system. He would STAND there and look around. It got to the point where my boss (the Hall Director) said I could have friends sit with me during my shift. He would also do the same thing with another girl who was a desk attendant and we would sit with each other. He would pay us BOTH to sit there, typed up a report, and sent to to someone in a different department.
He eventually started to catch on and he'd start coming at different times so I had my BIG male friend sit with me and tell him that we knew what he was doing, we already reported him, and he needed to stop. And we he'd start coming at random times, I'd get up and go to the back even if he saw me because he was so creepy. Some people suggested that he may have been on the autism spectrum but still. He made several odd comments and the day I gradated and moved out I was GONE.
