Incredible. Been playing a little Assetto Corsa, im a big F1 fan and somehow have never seen this track. Its incredible drive in an R8 LMS evo. The Porsche is a VERY close second, thanks for sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I get better laptimes than you, but your graphics and sound are amazing!!! On a more serious note, i use exact same gears as you, appart from the last turn, i stay in 3rd. I couldn’t be more jealous!
:) Cheers! For the last corner, I realised I could keep 3rd when downshifting. I knew my lap was correct given the intermediate conditions and was conservative at the end. Overall I could have been .5s faster on the lap, but it felt good, so I'm happy with that
question: isn't pressing the throttle whilest breaking a big no no? or is he useing some driveing teqnuice or driveing style that allows this to be quicker?
@@vam120thegamer4 The throttle gauge is bugged 🤷♂️ I do tend to make the mistake of overlapping pedals when switching between the 2 (left foot braking) but that’s not what we see here. Also, for those who wonder, the spikes in downshifts are the automatic « heel and toe » done by the car.
Looks amazing! Quick question: Do you never go fully off the Throttle? Is this on purpose or is the green bar showing us something other than the actual pedal position?
It doesn’t only represents the pedal pressure, but the amount of gas getting in. Like with any car, there’s always some gas being injected to keep the engine running. That minimum injection usually stops when engine braking, but since I’m using the brakesto slow down, the base injection keeps going. That’s what this is
There's a lot of "feeling" involved so it depends a lot on the driver and their setup. I've found that for me rFactor2 with the new 992 Cup car is the closest in terms of car behavior, tire model (temp, pressure) etc... ACC isn't bad at all, although I find the engine/transmission sound completely off, and that's enough to distract me as a mean to practice. Finally iRacing physics for that car specifically don't speak to me at all, but they're coming with a general GT3 update this month so we'll see :) I think sim racing as a way to learn tracks and techniques such as trail braking is good, but all the things you feel with your body in the real car have to be "translated" into some kind of force feedback in the steering wheel. That's why, as close as it gets, you can be good at one and not at the other. Still, real life track time is limited, so it's better than nothing and good practice to stay in "the zone"
@@Goodwood2010 this is as accurate as it gets. Actually, for a perfect rendition, crank the volume up untill you feel the need to cover your ears ;)
You take the cut on the second fast sweeper final sector. hm. Popometers fastest times go wide. i feel cutting the corner is faster though. You do the same. What gives?
I start braking before the curb (on it when the track is dry) and at that speed, if the steering wheel isn’t perfectly straight, the front wheels lock up easily without ABS, so I try to create a straight line by cutting

@Jonas Jonaitis thats what ive been playing. I just noticed it was free on Ps5 one day, so ill take it.
average “f1” fan 💀
theres a very good mod for this track in AC by reboot team if u wanna go grab it
nice driving bro, this machine looks awesome to drive
1:40,9 with porsche 911 gt3..but on ACC in my room without g forces ecc.😂 anyway i'm satysfied. Very nice lap! Thank you

0:14 nasty oversteer at corner entry. Nice catch!!

How come so light on the brakes? Is that just the telemetry not being calibrated?
No ABS + semi-wet track. I tried more, visited the gravel traps a couple times 😅
La classe! J’aimerais tellement essayer ça un jour!😍

May I ask why you never used the brakes at 100%, because you woulf gain time by breaking later no?
No abs and the track was kinda wet still
Also, I don’t have that much experience with the 992
music to my ears
Excellent!
How does it compare to sim racing witch sim in your opinion is the best for this car ?

@@cedric1808 thanks for you answer that very cool mate 👊

Just Excellentttttt🤩😍
Wow thats amazing
Was the track wet?
It was drying out with some wet patches and the curbs were still slippery. It started raining again mid lap as well so not ideal, but good learning ;)
@@cedric1808 clean driving there mate. Keep it up
I'm on 1:36.980 with Bmw M4 GT3 on ACC
That’s pretty fast! Dry track?
Although, comparing sims with real life (or between each other) doesn’t really make sense. It’s only an approximation
@@cedric1808 i know ;) yes dry track ;)
this car looks like it wants to spin out every time when the driver throttles it after exiting a turn.
More so when the track isn't completely dry... But yeah, you have to respect the gas pedal on that one :)
