So we're still playing dumb? There are Neighborhood affiliates. It's not rocket science. Cube is a family man that stayed out of the news (trouble with the law) and got his bread. What good has being a "real gangster" done for anyone anyway? He raised his family, that's what's important here

See someone woke up the real ones ...over here ..most the people act like they don't know what "affiliated " means that's why the police , government -real opps, thrive on us because of ignorance, affiliated means socialize with, do business with, partnership with, but still remaining your own entity, or business, and doesn't take away from learning street knowledge or ability to perform sed tactics , you can sell dope. You can pimp. You can scam , etc...and positive things without claiming a color , let that die

I grew up on a farm in Ohio and I never felt like NWA were even trying to be gangsters or promote gangbanging. I knew they were just rapping about their neighborhoods. I will never figure out why people looked at NWA as dudes who were gangsters lol. They were a product of their environment, so their lyrics reflected that. They never even wore colors that were popular with gangs in those communities. They were young black men that used music to better their lives...Sorry if you had crappy parents that didn't instill values in you and you were badly influenced by a rap group. Or you weren't intelligent enough to just be entertained by it lol. People that blame NWA for this and that are the same people who can't accept accountability.

He said he never really claimed a gang but he's still from Compton so whether you bang or not, you still gotta stay prepared for whatever & keep that banger on you because of the environment. Just because you may not be in a gang dont mean you still cant put in work when necessary. Same thing for Ice Cube, he grew up in the neighborhood so he still had to be 10 toes down & ready for whatever because of the environment he's from. People always like to run with this narrative that just because you ain't claiming a set dont mean you still cant put in work because I know a lot of people from LA that Im tight with & they never claim a set but they definitely still down because once you in LA & you get approached by a gang member, they dont ask you if you bang or not, the first question they ask you is where you from? And thats the nature of LA. & if you from LA, you can't be no punk, thats just what it is
