OQH closed down now like most of the local pubs. And yes you’re on the Buckley line there which had small locos pulling wagons of coal and bricks from Buckley many kilns and shallow mine workings. Railway terrace faced onto the line before it climbed up between the cricket pitch and cubs football pitch which were both pits for brickworks, as was the navy pitch and the tip, before the line went up across Englefield and Mold road, up to Northop hall. The other bridge tunnel was a spur to connahs quay train station, connecting the Buckley line to the main coast line. It also connected to it via the docks lines network , joining on near crumps railway works, and also the docks line extended to the railway bridge over the Dee with a chord connecting to the Wrexham to Bidston line just shy of the upper platforms.
