Front camera is amazing due to 4k, however may face clarity issues in case of direct headlight. Rear camera quality is decent. Value for money dashcam in this price segment.
@@traveltechyoutube 💯% agree. With little compromise in quality, I think a510 is an overall better deal due to starvis 2. However Good to see new companies getting in dashcam budget segment.
The Botslab G980H is an impressive dashcam in the sub-₹15,000 range, offering a strong combination of video quality, safety features, and user convenience. Its robust night vision and reliable dual-channel performance make it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a dependable, feature-rich dashcam.

So this must be the dashcam you were mentioning in the Nexdigitron Prime Plus video! Well, this certainly puts up a stiff fight against the Nexdigitron Prime Plus! Here is a rough comparison on paper: Nexdigitron Prime Plus has the triple channel coverage, quick detachability, and ability to detach the inside camera. Botslab G980H has ADAS and AI. Both dashcams have the same 4k Starvis sensor for the front camera, but Nexdigitron Prime Plus downscales when used in 3-channel mode. So how do they perform side-by-side? The benefit of AI is not evident in Botslab G980H. Only a side-by-side comparison can tell.
Check the fuse box of Baleno and select ACC and VCC fuses using a tester. VCC fuses will always have power. ACC fuses will have power only when car is on.
how well do the starvis 2 perform in direct headlight glare compared to starvis 1.and what difference does having 3k resolution in 70 mai a510 make compared to botslab 4k
Starvis 2 performance is better than Starvis 1 in direct headlight glare. In terms on 3K (1944p) and 4K(2160p) resolution, there will be more detail and sharpness in the 4K video
Wish you mention the hours of recording on a standard sd card. This is because I bought woodman dashcam, and it's just bad with 3-4 hours of recording on a 64gb card
That's why I specifically show the file size for every one minute of video. I show this for every dashcam. In this video I have shown that front camera takes about 222MB/min and rear camera takes 63MB/min. So you can easily calculate that 222+63= 285MB/min. So approx 4minutes of video in 1GB space. Now calculate depending on which memory card you have. 64GB ~ 64x4 = 256minutes = 4 hours 128GB ~ 8-9 hours 256GB ~ 15 hours
Hi For approx 25K budget, as per your suggestion i bought A229 plus. After delivery ive got news about F77 for similar price and better specs, so ive returned A229 and bought F77. Today it got delivered and now I am seeing for below 15K True 4K dashcam 🤦 What i am supposed to do? 25K is above my budget still i went as its related to safety and one time investment.
I have purchased this cam after seeing your video and installed in one of my vehicles. I would like to buy an FX1 or FX2 pro from iRoad (1080p) for another vehicle, whats your opinion about its performance/usability it being pricey and having a lower resolution.
Both are good choices, the G980H has better 4K recording due to Starvis IMX415. The Redtiger F17 has 3 cameras giving more coverage. So choose according to your requirement.
Look wise the cam is good but what about the long term performance because never heard about this company. Thanks for providing all the detailed information about this product.
Its a new entry into the dashcam market in India. Long term performance is yet to be know. But all companies were new at one point of time. This one is worth giving a chance.

Great videos and reviews with detailed coverage. Thanks a lot. Does battery based dashcam works fine in Noida/North India, as temp reaches 43-44 in summers? Or capacitor based dashcam is mandatory here? What do you suggest? I have to buy a dashcam
Have read many people opting capacitor based in north India here saying 44c temp. And inside closed car in sunlight will have higher temp, so battery based not safe. I have planned 12-13k budget for a dual channel, pref with display screen and night time number plate readability
Thanks, will review it. How is Redtiger as a brand, have not heard it earlier? Which sensor it has on front cam, from night time number plate capture propsective?
Which is cheapest Dual channel, Super Capacitor, front Starvis2, with Display dashcam you recommand? Found in your reviews that Starvis2 is equally imp for night time number plate as well for overall clarity. If Starvis2 does not fall in my budget, which one from below you recommand: Botslab G980H, Redtiger F7NT, DDpai Z60, DDpai Z50, Nextdigitron Prime Plus? All these are super capacitor dual with display but most have Starvis INX415 sensor. DDpai also has an interesting flash storage concept in case of sd card failure. Also consider after sales service. Pls suggest.
Wow the video quality looks really good. Please do a comparison video with A 510. Both dashcams comes with same price tag .
I currently don't have the A510, but will try.
Thank you so much for this amazing REVIEW.
