- In this VLOG I clean my LEGO room! Recently I let my LEGO room become a huge mess! There were so many buckets of parts lying around everywhere... it became a bit overwhelming. In this video... I clean it all up!

I laughed when you called the parts a “trail mix”. It made me first think of nuts and fruits.
You could devote every last day of the month to simply sorting. It will be productive while at the same time not frequent enough. 12 times a year sorting and 353 days of building sounds like a great ratio!
The feeling of finally getting everything organized is the best.
I find the best way is to crank the tunes and just get to it.

You are doing fine without LAN, might be best to be out from under that pressure permanently. LAN seems too much of a hassle. But then again free early Lego, lol.

Jordan I don’t think you should be so hard on yourself. One of that desk’s natural states is supposed to be “messy”. A table that doesn’t have chaos on it is an underused table, if the table was sentient it would tell you that it’s happy to be used and sometimes hold the mess for you.

Those hinge pieces are super useful for Helms deep. Helms deep uses a load of them and you could expand it by using those hinge pieces!

I have 2" x 3" ziplock bags. I put theme minfigured parts into them. So if you have torso and hair piece to go together then you place them into a bag together. Since they are in a bag, you can place them in a storage bin and not need to search for them later.
That type of jewelry bad are just creat at sorting and keeping the required space low. I store my unbuilt minis like that and game tokens in them as well.
I bought a storage bin of Lego on marketplace and that was enough sorting Lego for me.
I bought the burger van and built it yesterday, it's a great build and it's an Australian burger van, there is beetroot on the burger, so I put the steering wheel on the right hand side and it's driving on the left side of the road. ( Don't anyone tell me the purple bits are bacon, it's beetroot)
It takes forever to clean up and sort lego, but it feels so good when you do! Also, can I say that I've been enjoying your videos so much more now since the LAN thing. I'm not big on reviews, so this content has been so great!

Creating a mess while building MOCs for a city is just part of the hobby. Thousands of people in this world have the same problem so it’s what we signed up for. I agree with others you should designate certain days of the month for sorting so you don’t feel as bad about yourself. It’s okay
Sometimes you need to create, and sometimes you need to just organise and empty the table and the mind. Great job! 😊

Hey Bricksie -- here mod build that would be right in your wheel house to put your spin on and then maybe add it to the Amusement Park - a Star Wars diner !! you have ton of SW mini fig's to have in or around it.

If you want you can build some alternate builds from the 501st lego pieces, bricolar bricks (i always spell that wrong) has a ton off alternate builda for them...............if you want to atleast
Honestly when im building a moc thats bigger then just a small little fun build, my table is a big mess, with my little sorted drawers out etc and parts just loose around. I don't do it a lot but im currently building a post apocalyptic small diorama that consists of a small corner building and a street etc

So I have a question. So do you just put the extra pieces that come with sets into you inventory or do you keep it separate? I have been keeping them in individual ziplock bags but I never go back to them.

sorting and cleaning up lego is the reason I stopped doing lego anymore. I prefer to watch others fiddle around with legos rather than go through all the chore included in this hobby :(
Soon you'll be able to show Millie and Ben on how much 'fun' it is to sort Lego for dad and they will take over that job.

Hey Jordan. What do you think of the Corey Perry signing? Happy for your Oilers I'm glad there going to be in the playoffs afterall. A little warning though. I have had a few friends get copyright claims from the NHL for showing a glimpse of the hockey game on in the background. They were hockey channels but I'd hate to see you get a video claimed from them for something so dumb.

Good way s to organise some time s I see post. On Lego show off group page asking what s best way to sort an organise Lego.
