I have a much greater appreciation for all that’s involved with this occupation. The complexity of just getting up to speed looks daunting. Much respect. Thanks to all our truckers keeping the economic engine roaring…
The PDI tuner is great for reading codes while on the road now as of fuel mileage gains or power gains i have no clue if your going to see a difference. My suggestion is to put the truck on a dyno and get it tuned. Its not cheep but worth it in my book
Yep, that's what I keep saying about all PDI performance. Show the results. Anyone and say yeah it adds this or does that, but without dyno results, I wouldn't fork over that kinda money for words and pretty chrome!
I appreciate how much this guy genuinely loves his truck, and driving it. it brings a smile to my face. Keep up the videos I enjoy them a lot! thankyou.
This video is great to watch i order a pdi and the exhaust manifold along with nuts and bolts sitting in the box still waiting to install on my 12.7 Detroit for my w900l with an inframe job when the spring keep trucking driver best of luck to you and your company out there on the roads
Just bought a 379 exhd 18 with a custom built signature 600 with the PDI Big Boss Turbo and a bunch of other PDI parts. 750hp. Pick it up in 2 days. Oh man I can't wait...
Awww man the way you passes that red Kenworth company truck...... The way yiou handled the truck and shifted through them gears...... Thats an incredible feeling brother. That other truck was pegging the throttle too ....
I'm going to replace my Turbo with a Switchblade out of Missouri. They're supposed to have the best turbo on the market today. And I'll get my exhaust manifold from Full Tilt.
Had a guy get my 3406/5ek from factory 500 to 675-700 horsepower off a simple tune. He works wonders. These motors have so much power to unleash inside of them. The tuner from PDI has a advantage of knowing the engine codes if any come up. Besides that no reason to spend so much on the PDI tuner. Stay safe brother. Ever come into Cali let me know. Got a guy that'll get her set right!
Truck sounds nice. And im the same way with my vehicle's if something rattles or squeaks its pisses me off to. I call it the dumb shit. Enjoy your videos brother. Keep trucking and be safe.
Man that sucks about the windshield. But I'm glad she's performing a lot better now. She sounds real good now. You getting her there man. Good video buddy stay safe out there driver.🤙
Man that engine sounds so good I was smiling all through out the video man the jakes, the turbo, the sputter she sounds wicked, maybe one day we need an exhaust POV 😏
Definitely get that tuner it makes a heck of a difference brother 💯% I'd definitely get the truck dynoed as well just my opinion.. hope all is well with you and your family...
Should have kept driving the freightliner cat's cost a lot of money to maintain Detroit would make you almost twice as much money over the life of the truck difference in fuel com and maintenance
Trucks Sounds frigging Great imo! And while I kno its more important you can see in your mirrors, the fact that I cant see in your mirrors drove me nutz for the entire ride. 😆
I LOVE your truck!! I'm planning to purchase a pre-emissions W9 this summer. I've got a Lonestar right now and had a W9 before. I miss it! The Lonestar is alright... but I've got to get me a W9 with a Studio sleeper!
I have a C-15 6NZ and I had same thing Wasn’t good on mileage but I replaced engine harness and the fuel pressure valve which is the one underneath of the primer pump and did a big change and also I have 600 HP file making 6.5 5.9 depending on the load and the way I let it sing look and check the wiring on harness maybe start looking like trash. That was my problem not getting good fuel mileage
I have the Pdi tuner and I’ll say this F##K No Manifold and turbo are great. If you are looking for more power check out Pittsburgh Power. It’s half the price.
Well I see you got the tuner. I hope you have better luck then us. I see you keep an eye on your pyro but I would suggest keep an eye on your coolant temp come summer time.
Truth be told, I think their ECM is a better option... I'd phone them and talk about what you want.... And as expensive as it is, dyno tuning.... Dyno tuning a truck is great for optimizing power and fuel consumption (and finally, the weight of your foot)
I have a 2pc front windshield W9,the rubber seal has a 2nd PC,it looks like a rubber string. It is pressed into a groove in the rubber seal by doing so it tighten everything up. I think guys forgot to reinstall it.
Nice bro i have a ISX15 all Deleted with a PDI exhaust manifold and yes im on the same page looking towards to get there tuner what HPs are you hitting now?
Bunk windows are on, found them used, the seal around the windshield may have had a little too smooth of texture and the urethane wasn't sticking to it. Installed the new one yesterday and seems to be ok so far but we shall see.
@@TruckingPassion theres a primer sold especially for windshield seals and the urethane sticks better to it. Its called 3m single step primer sold on amazon as well. I used it on my w9 after fresh paint
Its not your imagination. The fuel blending have become crappy in the last year. Ive noticed fuel mileage decrease on three trucks ive driven in just over the past 3yrs. I thought i was going nuts but my newest one it started with decent mpg now ots shit...to say the least.
And yeah dude I got a T6 80 same engine and all that shit I just have the automatic restriction unfortunately so mines an automatic I had mine dynode I got about 150 almost 200 more horsepower I’m pretty much rolling up hills is a Flat better doing like 65 miles an hour where is before I only be doing 4045
@@TruckingPassion yes sir. I’m looking for a W900L with an 86, current found one with a 74 2000 model with a 2017 Cummings crate motor but in it. Guy has all paperwork on the engine and the trans.
