    The noise people are referring to is alternator whine. Car has to be running. Nobody's stereo is going to have alternator whine if it's not running.

    Nice job! Great looking bus bars. I like the triple alternators. I wire my systems the same way. Common ground. Thx!

    Thank you I'm gonna try that running everything to my Lithium. Was gonna try a groundloop isolator but your fix seems legit.

    Solid information bro, Loved the walk through and informative explanation and detail....your experience and knowledge is definitely gonna help the Bass brothers out there. Especially me , I'm just now catching on to all the different things you encounter with the big systems. Again thank you my guy...

    I just went through this after installing the jp63. I moved my hu ground to the rear ground, finally gone. It was driving me nuts. Lol

      Me too lol. Upgraded from 2 10s on 500w to 2 12s on 1000w. After doing that the combination of the 12s being ported and the Rockford amps putting out more than stated, plenty loud. I decided to add a 4 channel amp to run mids and highs since they were lacking. Ever since I did that, I’ve had an issue. While I was putting in my new to me 2001 model RF Punch 400.4 (nib still) my buddy was putting in a 250 amp alt. Not to mention, I also ran new power and grounds (4>1/0). So a lot of stuff happened in a short amount of time and I’ve really been kicking myself trying to get to the root cause, I bought a new amp, spent $150+ on RCA’s, ground loop isolator, insulation around speaker wires and rca, different head unit, nothing has worked. The new amp took care of a large portion of the whine, it’s no longer centered in our hearing range of high notes, making it was inevitable to hear. I got a little somewhere after an additional $500 more than I wanted to spend… if it being a wire from my Hu ground to my Amps grounds in the back I really, really have to thank you but I will be annoyed if it were that simple this whole time 😂

    Hi. Need some help regarding my
    SQ setup in car. Facing weird earthing noise. Tried everything. Need to consult you if possible. Kindly let me know how i can we connect please sir.

  • @BassBrotherBuild

    Thats weird cause I have 4 different grounds for one battery and 2 different grounds for my other battery and my amps all have their own grounds. My big 3 has all their own grounds as well. Hell, out of like 13 grounds in my car the only ground that shares a ground is my mid amp to one of my bass amps. I also use my factory harness as well and I don't have any noise what's so ever. I do use the best sundown audio rcas available. Most of my car has aluminum frame so alot of my grounds are to seat mounts and seat belt mounts😂. I'm not running as much power as you but I'm pulling around 1,000 amps
    I tried putting my battery ground to my amp ground and I got noise so I just put it back to it's own ground which was seat mount

    It’s pretty straight forward if your wiring is not chaos. … I need to learn how these dual voltage systems work.

    I have a problem that I can't figure out i recently upgraded to a new setup and after installing everything my LOC had a short and since then everything has acted wrong my brand new AAK 6k is making a high pitch whining noise it threw it into a thermal protection when the LOC blew and now I don't get bass out of it only the high pitch whining though the Sub i have checked the sub with the old 9 volt battery trick and it seems fine both coils read good with the DMM BUT what really has me stumped is my KICKER CXA 1800.1 won't give me any bass now either I have redone everything again today and same thing I posted a short of the noise can you please look at it and tell me if you have ever heard anything like that before I honestly don't know what to do

    How do you seperate the 12v from the 16v? Im having issues with my yukon because of this i need to run mine at 12v while the system stays at 16v

    • @ityaboychipsahoy7499
      @ityaboychipsahoy7499 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What year gmc Yukon are you referring to I own a gmc Yukon and it charges at abt 14.4-14 stock I’m not sure if you mean you have a 16v after market alt for your amps and stuff and you need to split your power for your car stuff like ac,lights etc for that you would need a 16v to 12v dc converter for the ladder you will need to first get an alternator that puts out 16v

      Its a 96, so what im trying to do is get an extra alt, ill keep my 2 HO alts fir my Lto and the other regular alt for an agm battery under the hood, that way i can use the agm and the extra alt to feed my yukon and the other 2 HO alts with the lto to feed my audio, would i have to do any modifications if i try that?@@ityaboychipsahoy7499

      @gost2dp ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats a clean sound. Strong amplifiers will have that at least. Air, no hiss. When your doing thousands of watts, you cant expect it to be dead silent.

    • @onesikm3
      @onesikm3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya cuz this is far from being an sq build lol. And that hiss is what im combating and realizing that there’s only one way to get rid of that. It involves spending atleast starting minimum $1500 for a sq amp that has a high signal to noise ration > 110db.
      I just installed my first class d amp and went with one of these d4s jp84 and I’m pretty bummed out with the results. I’m going to try and send it back and just keep using my old jl class ab amp that blows that thing out the water!!! I knew it wasn’t going to be good but with the sales going on and the extreme power numbers on the dynos I went in hopeful thinking technology has advanced that far that I could get a price of clean audio equipment for under 200 and ask for it to move heaven and hell but nah
