I would add "life upkeep" intimacy because even though all those you mentioned are vital, the reality is water heaters leak, dogs get sick, noises wake you up and need to be addressed, moods won't match during day...finding someone who understands this "true acceptance of life" and is there at 3 am to get up with you if needed or who shows up when you have an issue is the real relationship work, it's not just dancing in the kitchen, but fixing it, easing the worry to allow for pleasure pathways. Making all intimacies intermingle is having someone in your corner that leans in just as much with your personal intimacies as with life upkeep errands. You can try to eye gaze while the kitchen faucet is spraying water, or work together, fix it and then calm down and eye gaze for the night, put the wet clean-up towels in the dryer, order in, enjoy head and neck massages, laugh about it as much as you can and take out the warm towels and fall asleep. Having said that, looks like the sun coming through your blinds has turned to exotic circles on your wall, looks really cool. To a new year Jami.
