'A Biblical Storm' in Lanshan 2 - A Windy Wild Camp at Margery Stones

Join me on a very windy wild camp in the peak district at the beginning of April. I was joined by Mark ‪@trickofthetrail‬ for the camp.
I wasnt planning to take a lot of footage so the video is a fairly short one. please check out Mark's channel for his version of the camp.
Anyway, it was good to test out the tents in a 10 minute storm that came from the heavens and then disappeared as quick as it came..

Nice remote spot there, always windy though. Last time I was up, there were people shooting grouse, but no temporary access restriction in place.

1st time for me Tom but cracking spot as you say ..on way back down we could see the areas marked off for grouse shooting

When was this ? I was going to camp there when the last storm raged in. I had to drop off the summit 😂. Lanshan stood up well though.

This was the easter saturday last wknd in march.. a very weird storm that came across about 6ish and battered us for about 10-15 minutes. Nice spot to camp though

@@JurassicRambler Aye I’ve camped there before a few times. My dogs ashes are buried not too far away too below Margery Hill trig. I went up there April 6th
